It was very easy to set up. All you need is the product name and serial number. The website will set up the remote!!!!

I purchased as a gift for my dad who had a problem with remotes. He claims they never work or do what he wants the remote to do. when it comes to switching from BLU RAY to satellite he gets completely lost. With this remote it cant get any easier it does it all for you

This is hands-down the very best multi-function controller I've found. It's so easy to program that it's painful to think that I didn't try tis unit before. Connect the remote to your computer via the included USB cable, tell the app the brand and model number of your equipment, and it all loads to the remote in a flash! You can customize how it behaves, dedicate volume control to your receiver so you don't have to switch the function from TV/Cable to Sound, it's the most versatile unit I've ever found. The only reason I don't rate it 5 stars across the board is because it didn't work with my receiver. In the end it didn't work for me because my receiver is more than 10 years old and the program code simply wasn't available. If you have newer equipment though, this would be perfect for you. I'm just not willing to buy a new receiver yet, but when I do, I'm sure I'll go back to Logitech for a universal remote.

We have owned Logitech remotes for the past 8 years and have replaced a couple after they wore out. We have one on each TV in the house and love how easy it makes switching between devices. Programming is simple and straightforward. I only wish the circuit boards were a little more reliable and lasted longer.

I have to make sure that is completely aligned with my sensor or it wont pick it up.

This was a replacement for a identical remote that I had purchased 7-8 years ago.This is a great remote that operates up to 8 devices. I used my older one a lot and the buttons were starting to give a few problems.Being that it was so long lived,I decided to buy an identical replacement. Very easy to operate.

With day-to-day usage, this remote is great. However, if it gets dropped or sat on, you have to got through the entire tutorial in the 'smart' window on the remote in order to get back to where you want to be. Also, for smart TVs, it's not apparent nor easy to find your TV's special features (i.e. Netflix, Amazon, etc.).

I was hesitant to hope it would do all they claimed. I couldn't believe it programmed so well and actually works with ease.

You must have a PC to program this remote easily. The setup was quick and instructions easy to follow. It works well. You have to hold the remote pointing directly at the equipment for a few seconds to insure all commands have been transmitted to the various pieces being controlled. A big improvement over having a pile of remotes on hand.

The remote by design is not as high-end as some of the real top of the line touch pad programable models. However, it's very easy to program and it's functionality can't be beat for it's price. This is a great remote for a medium AV setup, or a kids room or bedroom with multiple components. For the cost you will be very satisfied.

Very pleased with the value and ease of use. No need to have paid twice as much. This remote does all I need. Very pleased. Only complaint is the help button when something isn't coming on correctly. However, with a little extra back tracking though it can be figured out.

This remote is great. It controls all my devices and I love hitting one button and everything turns on or off. The quality of it feels good and has held up nicely against my 2 year old. Once you figure out the setup online, it isn't too bad. Had difficulty getting it to work on a mac, but worked fine on the PC. Overall, a great buy!

This was part of a huge purchase and it made sense. However, it simply doesn't always work. The techs programmed it so I know it was right. When you go to turn things off, about half the time something stays on. Usually the TV. then when things are on, you lose control of things for no reason. Will keep working on it.

I have a bunch of these scattered around the house. They work great for use by my grandchildren because I program them to only control my DVR and Roku which minimizes the chance that the kids will screw up my system by pushing other buttons. The one problem that I found is that unlike other Logitech programmable remotes, you can't change the order of the list of "activities" on the opening color screen. For example I want the TiVo activity to be on the top of the screen and the Roku activities to be at the bottom of the screen. One of my 650 remotes has exactly that but another one has the order flipped. I have tried to find a solution but there are posts on the Internet that changing the order of activities is not possible.

If your looking at this remote, then you should also expect to have to set it up. Once complete and you understand how it works, then you can have others use it and it works flawlessly! Has a sensor for when it is picked up for usage so that the screen isn't always on.

This did in fact combine several remotes into one. The basics are pretty straightforward and set-up is done on-line via a cable from the universal remote to a USB port on your PC. I still feel like I have aspects to learn about this device however.

didn't know much about remotes for all access to media devices. Just know I didn't spend $100. If I not mistaken this remotes runs about $89-99 and I got an amazing price. so far the is an excellent remote it even searches to correct an action if you accidentally press the wrong button and lose the picture!

I got it to work with a klpsch sound bar. Works good with it. The factory remote is very cheap this is a lot better

I love this remote. Price is excellent and it works great
