For $79 this collapsed four disparate devices into one, the Harmony 650. Easy to use and setup. First thing to know, is when you put the batteries in hold two keys down on the second battery being installed. (Note: this is not in the manual) This sets the device to setup mode. From this point, follow the instructions and attach the device to the usb cable once the MyHarmony app is executed from your computer. Initially, in my case, the device keypad lights flashed and would not connect to the software. Following the two-button press upon installing the batteries solves the issue. Overall, learning the device by reading the manual and checking information online opens up a set of actions that are helpful and new capabilities are learnt over time! Its a very useful device.

It works, but overly complicated. Hard to program due to a lot of leg work on your part. They make you create an account which I fe is terrible for a remote control. it constantly does stuff I don't want it to. If you don't use it often you have to restart the remote. Only use this if you have no other choice

I have the 700 in my living room. It works great. I thought the only difference between it and the 650 I bought to use in the bedroom was the rechargeable battery. I constantly have to use the help button and device button to make changes to my Insingnia TV and Yamaha receiver when switching from one mode to another. It has no issues with my Sony Blue Ray. So, if I am only turning the TV on and off or only using the Blue ray, it is fine. A couple of times it has teased me by saying "you seem to be having a problem with the TV control, lets fix that" or something like that. Then you push the remote button it tells you to and it says problem solved because your TV didn't have a lag in being turned on. Only problem is, nothing has changed. And heaven forbid I should turn anything off by hand when walking by it and expect the remote to work correctly the time I use it!!!

Nice remote with a lot of functionality. The remote was easy to set up once my computer was able to recognize that it was hooked up. That's really the only negative thing about this remote. I had the same connectivity issue with another Logitech remote.

I was skeptical when the Geek Squad consultant tried to sell me an $80 remote. He promised that it would "change my life" and wow, was he right. This remote is the best component of my theater room set up. Controls every component from one source. Easy to program. User friendly. Highly recommend!

I had an old Harmony remote that died. I wanted to have an easy to use remote, so I went for another Harmony. It took me about 30 minutes to set this up and use it. I like it so much that I purchased another one to use with my new tv.

Remote works great and replaces several others for all in one system. Now if I could just get it away from my wife.

This is my 2nd Harmony 650 remote and I love these things. Very easy to program and easy to use. My wife and kids aren't savvy and one press of a button allows them to turn on all the necessary components. The use of macros based on what activity you would like to do is a life saver in my house.

We bought an open box receiver and was missing its remote. We bought the Logitech Harmony so we can control our sound system. It is amazing. We have gone down to just one remote. It controls our TV, DVR., and sound system. It was also easy to set up and we have not a had a problem with it.

Exactly what I needed, I have 5 items that needed operating and its crazy having that many remotes. But this one does the trick. It can be a little tricky if you are not technically inclined but overall its really simple to set up and operate and makes my coffee table look great with only 1 remote compared to 5 or 6.

The device will reproduce every button on my other remotes (except maybe the keypad, I have not tried that yet). However, some of the more device specific buttons were not obvious. I had to read the electronic manual to figure out how to reproduce them. Because of that the setup was over an hour long, not quite as easy as they said it would be. I will sometimes turn off the tv at the tv. The remote does not know that the tv is off, so I have to point it at nothing and push the off button to make it think that it has turned off the tv. It is not a big deal, but its kind of a hassle. When I want to watch a movie on the dvd player the remote used to put the tv in the HDMI mode, but now it does not. I am not sure why that is and have not spent a lot of time trying to figure out why or fixing it. Overall, I really like the remote. I thought it was definitely worth the money.

I need a device that is kid proof and can be found quickly (even in a closet) the glow in the dark feature and set up work well and it has compatibility with those hard to find manufactures. My TV is a Calypso very hard to find compatibility with many remotes.

I love this remote, and more importantly, my husband loves it. It was so easy for me to program it, the longest part was installing the software. And it works like a charm and does exactly what we want it to do! Great product, and it is reasonably priced compared to some of the remotes that cost several hundred dollars. Love it!

I'm glad I went ahead with this remote. Recommended by by Geek Squad agent, all functions and appliances run off this one remote. Easy, no searching for the right remote and well explained by my Geek Squad installer. Anyone who hates juggling 3-4 remotes to run your system need to get this

I love harmony remotes. I had a 510 so when it finally died so I figured why not the 650. Setup was easy enough worked great but it ate batteries. Called harmony they said there was a button stuck. So instead of dealing with that took it back to the store they took care of it. And love it now. No more battery monster.

This remote exceeded my expectations. I have a complicated system, with new and older equipment. This remote was able to communicate with all of them, and has extremely good and useful programming functionality. For instance, pressing the single "Watch Movie" button, turns on my TV and sets the input to the DVD player, turns on the DVD player, turns on the Receiver (for the audio) and sets the Receiver audio input to the DVD. It sets the volume control (on remote) to the Receiver (instead of the TV), and sets the play control buttons to the DVD. I used to have to mess with three remotes, and a lot of complications to switch from one viewing mode to the other. Pressing the single "Watch TV" button does a similar dance. It turns on the TV and sets the input to the Satellite DVR. It turns on the Satellite DVR, and it sets the volume control to the TV, and the navigation buttons to the DVR. This thing even has a motion sensor that turns on the backlighting (buttons and display) whenever it is picked up. That's very helpful when watching in a darkened room. I'm very pleased with this remote!
