We love this remote controller! The Logitech 650 is user friendly, and controls every device: the Wi, XBox, TV, Cable, PS3, DVD player, up to EIGHT devices! The price has come down considerably from the first Harmony we purchased several years ago. That's a huge plus!

I'm using this to control a Sony TV, RCA Radio/DVD, and a Bose sound system. Required two calls to Logitech tech support to complete the setup, but the wait time for each call was less than a minute and the tech support was excellent. Once set up, the Harmony 650 can be counted on to consistently turn on and off the necessary devices to watch TV, watch Smart TV, watch a DVD or listen to FM radio.

The remote control has been working pretty well, it's nice to have all of our devices on one controller, and so far we have five devices programmed. It was fairly easy to program by a lap top. Every so often if you hit the wrong button may have refer back to original remote to get everything back on track and I wish it had a better night light.

This is my third Logitech controller in the last 12 years. Their products hold up & provide many years of service. I like the ones you can put on a charger the best like the Harmony One. It was the best remote they ever made, but decided to quit making it in favor of the newer and more expensive charge remotes. I tried the new ones & did not like it so I purchased the Harmony 650 & really like it. Performs great & easy to use.

The remote controls a multitude of different entertainment devices. The set-up was super easy and it controls my Xbox, Samsung Blu-Ray, my early version Roku and general TV control and took maybe 10 minutes setting up online. The remote lights up when moved so you can easily see the control buttons in the dark and has the LCD screen to view different options and allows you to control the Xbox with both colored buttons and visual X, Y, A, B options on the screen. The only minor inconvenience about this remote is that in Xbox mode, you have to flip to your TV setting to change the volume but that's just a few clicks of the button if you can remember that. I really like this remote and am so glad I don't have to deal with four different remotes for all of my separate devices. And if for some reason the remote doesn't do as you want, there's a "help" button that will help you turn on or off the device you requested. I love that I can click the "Watch a Movie" button and it turns on both my TV and my Blu-Ray simultaneously...magic.

Very easy to use, easy to set up, works with almost everything, and just a nice looking remote!

As always, Harmony remotes work great. Simple to program and controls any device you can throw at it.

I do in-home tech-support for computers and audiovisual equipment. I have installed well over 20 of these for my clients that were tired of having separate remotes for their cable box, DVD, streaming device, etc. It's very simple to connect to a computer and tell it the equipment you have and then one remote rules the mall. Highly recommended

I was hesitant to buy this after reading some reviews on various websites. I could not be more pleased with my purchase. It does everything I want it to do, including limited functionality with my Amazon Fire TV Stick. I have had it for over a month and battery life is still good. We are probably moderate users between DVR, Netflix, Fire Stick, and channel surfing. Programming the remote is fairly easy and straightforward.

Batteries and clear instructions were all in the box. Setup was a breeze! In under 20 minutes it was programed and all the macro keys doing their job. Rechargeable batteries would have been nice, but I chose to purchase this without...... Hopefully batteries last a fair amount of time, haven't had to replace them yet approaching month 2

Feels solid. Durable track record. Replaces a Harmony 550 I had for at least 5 years. This piece of gear is necessity if you have multiple electronic devices in your setup. This one remote replaces 6 for me. The wife supported this purchase without thought when I mentioned the prospect of having to pull out some of the other remotes when the 550 began to struggle. The remote underside has no rubberized coating. It seems more prone to dropping/being knocked off furniture. Highly customizable if you use the older harmony 7.7 downloadable software. Initial setup has you using their website software that is simple with a better UI. I actually redid setup with the older software by replacing the 550 with the 650 even though the website tells you not to. The website limits customized options that the older downloadable 7.7 software does not (i.e. controling how long the backlight stays on and fewer allowed devices). I picked this up on sale for $40 at BB over the holidays but would still be satisfied if I paid 30 or 40 more.

I use this to control my entire system: HDTV, 5.1 Surround Receiver, DVR, VCR, and even my PS3. The remote works great with all of them, though I do have to use an extra adapter to control the PS3 (this is due to PS3s requiring Bluetooth remote technology). It's easy to program and customize the remote by using the My Harmony app. I even programmed a special sequence to toggle the Closed Captions on and off for my DVR, which is much easier than doing the steps manually. If you have more than 1 device to control in your living room, you'll be very glad to have this remote. This remote replaced an older Harmony that finally died after my dogs had knocked it onto the hardwood floor for the 500th time. The fact the old one survived such punishment for so long is very reassuring.

I have a Nakamichi CD player and receiver and this controls them just fine. I do have to take a few extra steps to access the controls than when using the original remote but it is not a big deal. It works fine with the tv and fios set top box. I am very happy with my purchase and I would definitely purchase another one of these when I need one.

I like having one remote to operate all devices. The ability to easily switch between different devices with the push of one button is great, especially for the 'tech challenged". It is a little pricey, especially when you add on the programming install charge, hence the 4 stars instead of 5, but we are glad we opted to go this route.

When we bought the big screen T.V. the salesman suggested my husband get this remote controller. When they installed our flat screen the guy showed my husband the remote and set it up for him. He can even listen to a football game on the radio and watch a football game on the T.V. with a push of a button! It is very easy to run the remote.

This is the second one of these I have purchased. I use this one for my TV system in my bedroom. I actually used the same remote for both rooms for a while but that wont work if wife wants to watch one TV and I want to watch the other. Programming couldn't be easier. The only con I see is that all components may not come on or switch correctly the first time. But with the help button it will eventually do the job.

I bought a Harmony remote 3 - 4 years ago mainly for my wife because she would get very frustrated trying to switch between activities with our audio/video setup (switch from watching TV to watch a DVD, or VHS or listen to music). The Harmony remote restored Harmony in our house and is easy to setup and use; just connect it to your computer, add your audio, video components and configure your activities. Your computer programs the Harmony remote and then you only need to press 1 button to switch activities. Our old Harmony remote was starting to die; some of the buttons were not working correctly or just not registering when you pressed them (I tried replacing the batteries), so I got this new one. The upgrade process from my old remote to the new one was incredibly easy - I just plugged the new remote in to my computer and told the software I was replacing my old remote. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone who struggles with multiple remotes; this one remote controls my sound system, vcr, dvd, and tv with no problems.

Until I got this remote, every time we turned on the TV, my family and I had to gather three or four remotes, then remember which controlled what to even turn on the set! When the Geek Squad guys installed some electronic stuff in my home, they suggested consolidating what would be five remotes down to this one unit. They looked at the electronic stuff we had and programmed the remote to automatically turn on each component involved at once! It's so nice to let the remote figure out the combinations! There's even a place to add extra equipment not listed on the remote, such as Apple TV and Smart TV capability. Since the Geek Squad programmed this for me, I don't know how difficult or easy it was to set up. Since I don't know computers well, I'm guessing It would have taken me a lot longer to set up than it did for them to do so! I would highly recommend this! Just one warning-- if you turn on any of the components manually, you will have to turn it off the same way for the remote to activate it.

I have 4 different components and hence 4 different controllers. So I wanted to consolidate. Kind of a pain in the butt gathering the model numbers for all of my components (which is how the remote programs) but it's totally worth it. Yeah, if you have several different home entertainment products I would definitely recommend this.

I have been using Harmony Remotes for years, Harmony 890, Harmony 900, Harmony One, and now Harmony 650. This remote is as easy to program as any of the others and seems to function just as well. Plus despite my concern the AA batteries have lasted. Make sure to buy the BEST BUY warranty, well worth its cost. I have had my remote replaced 3 times over the years due to miss handling. Not once did they fail to replace it.
