This remote is great for a basic AV system. You will have to install normal batteries. Does not come with rechargables or charging base station.

great to only have ONE remote to operate TV, Cable box, DVD player and Sound Bar

This remote is a good option for someone looking to control a few devices and to not have to resort to so many of the original ones. I configured my TV, cable box / dvr, blu-ray, 5-disc dvd changer, and apple tv on this controller. Setup was a breeeze, and i like the integrated functions that activate several devices at once. My only complaint is that sometimes it is hard to make the controller switch back to the previous device.

this might be an older model, but it did the job with my new system. It is easy to program and simple to add a component.

I was okay with a dumber universal remote until I started to watch a lot of Netflix, in one room through a wireless Samsung TV and another room through a Sony DVD. This remote will setup a second TV for your wireless connections. Start your second TV (Netflix) setup with the device that you want the buttons to work with, in my case the TV for one control and the DVD for the other. The Logitech live support is good if you get into trouble.

Great value for this quality product and easy to sync with the various devises.

This universal remote works great. It was able to mesh all my components into one easy to use remote.

Overall, this remote does exactly what I bought it to do. I wanted to consolidate my 4 other remotes into one. I use a Samsung LED, Time Warner DVR, LG Blu Ray and Denon Receiver. It was very easy to set up and I love the ability to customize what each button does. The online program is so easy!!!! My only negative is that sometimes it won't turn on a component when hitting "Watch a Movie" or "Watch TV" functions. Minor inconvienence....

The Harmony is very easy to use. I no longer need to keep all of my remotes within reach... I can do everything with one remote!

Bought this remote to replace my aging Harmony remote that finally died after about 10 years (I think). Most of my settings transferred to the new remote. I had to tweak a couple of the activities but I was up and running within 10 minutes. This is very nice universal remote. It is so much easier to tell my daughter to just press "Watch TV" rather than explain that she needs to turn on the TV, the DTV box, and the surround sound. I am pleased with the remote and would recommend it.

This makes it so simple to run all the combinations I have attached in the system. Even when I don't have it pointed right, it fixes the issue!

Even better than the fact that it controls 5 devices is that you press one button and all the settings on those devices change automatically.

Little confusing st first but once is all set up works well and is very convienient

We use this remote in several homes. It's easy to program and intuitive to use.

I thought I could combine my cable, Samsung, DVD, and woofer remotes all into one remote. It did not work for me.

Wow, Controls everything ( all 8 components) with one remote. Even has a help button for when something is not set just right.

Great remote. Doesn't get much better at this price. Takes a little patience to set up properly, but then you are all set.

The set up is very easy, and the ability to program the remote for what you want to do rather than just by device makes using perfect for anyone.

Overall I am very happy with this remote. Even when it doesn't turn something on I can easily complete the task by using the help function.

I REALLY love this remote! You only need one remote to do everything, and it's so easy to use. I'm so glad our salesman showed it to us.
