Programming instructions were confusing and we had to contact the manufacturer who coached us through it. They were very helpful. We are very happy with the remote now that we know how to work with it which does take practice. We actually bought a second one for our son who is much more technical than my husband or myself.

Does the job well, easy to program

Then it stopped working & could not be fixed according to the Geek Squad. Went shopping for a replacement & got very close to buying the higher end model again but thought i'd try this basic one. It does everything the old one did & was remarkably easy to program. Does not have a rechargeable battery but so far battery life seems fine. I would recommend this remote to anyone who does not have an enormous number if components to control.
