This is what I would call a "Smart Remote".

Has a screen with text that easily repairs problems. Asks questions such as, "Did that fix the problem?" , and continues until it IS fixed. The Harmony 650 controls up to 5 pieces of equipment, I believe. Unhappy with customer NO SERVICE regarding my original one with disappearing markings. However, it is a terrific piece of equipment that I would have a hard time living without.

Hit and Miss!

The 1st one lasted about 9 years before it finally went out. However, the 2nd one was nothing but trouble, almost from the beginning! After 10 mos I just purchased a 3rd Harmony Remote to replace the one that ended up being a "lemon." Hopefully, this one lasts much longer than the 2nd one!
