Simplifies numerous remotes. We had three remotes and we're now down to this one.

One remote is much better than 4. Easy to navigate

Good unit to handle multiple devices vs. many separate remotes.

The unit is hard to program. Not all of our devices have been added due to the difficulty in function. This unit works intermittently - slow response time in function. If Best Buy had a better return policy we would have returned it. 15 days is a short time frame!

This remote is easy to set up and even easier to use. Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing

Has great functionality. The "Help" button works really well. If a component doesn't turn on correctly when you want to watch TV or DVD or whatever, the Help button walks you through anything that can fix the problem. Very useful remote and a great price vs. much more expensive options that do the same thing.

Even my "remote illiterate" spouse finds it easy to use. For the watching movies activity, one button turns on TV, sets the input source to HDMI2, turns on DVD and the surround sound receiver with volume control given to the receiver. Power off turns them all off. You can switch out of the activity to control your devices independently. Eliminates all confusion and clutter. Whatever took me so long? Both of us love this device.

I bought this remote because my ten year old universal remote that was programed by a professional finally bit the dust. I was not worried about it working with my new smart TV but I had concern about my 35 year old Denon Receiver that still works like a charm. Finding each system's model number was not easy but programing it to the computer system was straightforward. I learned however that this remote does not work with the PlayStation systems unless some other gadget is purchased. I was not told this at Best Buy when I purchased it. When I turned on my systems the TV came on as did the receiver but the remote would not change the volume for us. Because of this and it's lack of ability to turn on the play station I returned the remote to Best Buy.

I've had a 700 model for a number of years that is a great concept but has always been erratic in performance. This latest version of the 650 is nearly flawless. Communicates perfectly with all the associated equipment and seems to sync faster to the desktop app. I just set up my grandmother with one, and although she might not be familiar enough to program and sync it, she loves using it.
