love it, makes life simple because you don't have to look for 8 different remotes.

I love the concept of what this remote is supposed to do. However, I have a PS3 and the accompanying Logitech add on to control the PS3. If you don't have this remote perfectly aimed at your equipment it will skip a step in turning something on. Sometimes the PS3 portion just doesn't get picked up period. Then you press help, and it will usually fix everything by running through the presets again. However, since the PS3 must use the same signal for "off" as it does "on" it will remain out of sync until you power everything down and start over. For all of the money this line of logitech controllers cost, you would think they could figure out how to make them full proof. This was my 2nd logitech controller and I was really hoping that a newer model would have addressed these problems, but it is no better than the old one. I probably won't try again with these logitech remotes until I hear they've fixed this problem with the video game consoles.

Needed to replace an older Logitech Harmony remote and this does the trick. It does take some effort to program it through your computer, but once done you're good to go. If there are any issues with the settings, the "HELP" button provides a quick resolution. Would recommend for those with a multi-device entertainment system.

This is a cheap replacement for the in law to consolidate remotes. Coming from the harmony line over the past four years it is difficult to compare. I would recommend this. But either save for the harmony and be truly happy or purchase at discount.

I read all the reviews before I bought it and I guess it just wasn't as comparable with my tv and blue ray player as it could have been because I had problems with it. I'm sure it was my fault. We had to get cable so got a universal remote that controls everything so not using this remote anymore.

It's amazingly simple to use. One remote controls all of my audio/visual gadgets. EXCELLENT!

I have been using the Logitech Harmony remotes for years. After my old remote gave out on me after 7+ years, I bought this new one. I loved how easy it was to transfer your settings from your old remote to the new one. That saved me so much time in setting up the remote. Works great and the response is much better than my old one.

Remote works well and works with all audio equipment

This remote control works good and is very easy to set up but its not for a complicated system. I have a cable box DVR, a 5 disk DVD, Bluray Player, VHS>DVR, and a Sony A/V plus a ROKU and PS3 which I knew from the getgo would not work because they are RF and this remote is for IR. After the easy set up (using a USB connection to a computer) the operation of the remote was anything but easy. A few functions were missing for the cable box, 5 disk player, A/V system and many of the functions that were there were not labeled --- having to remember or write down what did what was a real pain and for me it was easier to just use the remotes that came with the various devices. I could see how this would be real beneficial for a simple system (tv, cable box, dvd).

It was recommended by a sales person at Best Buy. He had one he said and it ended using all other remotes. I guess I expected something different. Not really sure what I expected. The remote programming first wouldn't recognize the Cox cable box. Took me 20 minutes just to get that programmed by pointing it to the box and waiting for it to recognize it. It takes some getting used to. Each time you use the TV you have to set it back to the TV to even increase the volume. When you use the Sound System again you have to go back and click that to use it....you must be able to read small print on the screen too. I wouldn't recommend it for people who have sight issues. I still haven't figured out how to change the CC. It's probably great for a profound GEEK who uses this stuff all the time but if you just want to watch a little TV in the evening, I wouldn't get it. It's easier to use 3 remotes. I am still debating on returning it.
