Before buying the Logitech remote we had to use three different sets to control our TV, surround sound, cable and Blue Ray player. The new remote is not only easy to use it contains an automatic self diagnostic system in case of a problem. The buttons light up nicely for late night viewing. We love it.

I have tried several other so-called universal remotes, but none of them were able to replace the manufacturer's original. Logitech Harmony Remotes actually allow me to put all of the original remotes away! Easy to learn remotes that actually do what the original does! Excellent product! I am beyond pleased!

The Harmony 650 is my first Logitech remote. Out of the box, I was able to set it up in about 30 minutes, including downloading the software from the Logitech website. I’m truly using just one remote to control all of my Sony products and the patience trying cable box. The I’m somewhat amazed what the device will do if you take the time to set things up with favorite channels and so forth. All things considered, the price of this remote was worth it. Logitech has me curious as to what all the other pricier remotes can do?

This is my first universal remote from Logitech and it made me buy some more for my other rooms. It is cheap and works. Some quirks sometimes it needs to resent signals for the equipment to work but it ultimately does. Recommend you try it!

We are very happy with our new remote. We went from four separate remotes to manage our entertainment center to this one easy to use remote. The learning curve is quick and easy and it simplified our cluttered remote pile. We are very pleased with our choice to finally upgrade. I wish we did it sooner!

This is our second 650 and after the first one was damaged beyond repair ( our fault) I looked around and could not find a better remote for any price. If the signal doesn't get through to any devices controlled for whatever reason, simply press help and it guides you on screen to fix the issue. Love it.

I picked it up and programmed it quickly. It works well, most of the time. One glitch is that if somebody turns on the TV the old fashion way by using the power button on the TV, the remote has to relearn where TV on is. My wife hates it. :(

Very easy to set up, wide verity of functions. The multi-function screen provides easy customization for functions that are most often used by individual users. The only down side is there seems to be an issue in syncing the remote using the software if connected to a USB 3.0 port. This is circumvented by being sure to connect the remote to a 2.0 port for programming. It should also be noted that if you have more than one, the software does not allow naming of the remotes so you'll need to keep track of which (1) and (2) is.

Got remote set up in 20 minutes, even added channels we watch a lot, DVD player, speakers, and movies. Could not believe how easy it was. I did make one mistake when I went to use it but the help window corrected it quickly. You will not be sorry you bought this remote. we are in our 70's Piece of cake!!

The only problem I had with the remote was the batteries that came with the unit were dead! Took a while to figure that out ... very difficult to program without any power. New batteries led to a straight forward syncing and all was good.

I have purchased 4 of these remotes so far. 1 for my household and the rest for my customers. People who are using more than 1 remote to control their entertainment devices don't know how easy it becomes with just one! The Harmony 650's are easy to set up and work great for an inexpensive price.

I bought this remote because the one for my DVD player died. I walked into the store thinking I'd just get a replacement, but ended up liking the idea of combining multiple remotes into one. It was easy to set up, and is easy to use. I especially like being able to turn everything off with one button.

I have had a lot of negative experiences with "universal remotes" but thought I would take one more shot at it with the Logitec Harmony. I am very glad that I did - easy to set up, program, make changes and it really does control everything. So impressed that I bought another one for the MBR! Just get it.

I have only had this for a few weeks, very happy with it. it was very straightforward to program; just log into the website with it connected to the computer and answer questions and it worked. I am really impressed how well the feature to turn on everything on to "watch TV" (cable box and TV) or "Watch a movie" (TV, Blue ray, sound system) works. Other "universal" remotes I've had sometimes turn everything on (or off) and sometimes not. This one gets it right every time. The only minor annoyance is that the DVR LIST is not a dedicated button, but one on the display (I use it regularly). If they had one of these with larger buttons, they'd sell a lot of them to children of senior citizens to give to their parents.

I was skeptical at first but does why it's supposed to do. I use one remote to control 4 devices. Still haven't figured out all the buttons and have to use original remote at times. No manual provided or the installers threw it out.

I love this remote, and most harmony products for that matter. I am able to use this remote to control my projector, fire tv, light switch, and fan. The set up is very easy and is painless. My only complaint is that you cannot switch the positions of your activities on the main screen. Great remote!

easy set up the interface software to program the remote is very user friendly different from previous versions, and the response from my devices from the commands from the harmony work with no delays. Its also very simple for everybody at home tonuse it compared to previous harmony control i have owned

I bought this remote after my Geek Squad installer recommended Logitech so that I didn't need to use so many remotes. Well, universal remotes have come a long way. I didn't realize how easy they have gotten, should've gotten this before now. This is a great remote for the price, needs to be connected to a computer for programming. I love that it has different modes for just watching tv, dvd or listening to music. I wish I had done more research before I bought this to know that this is an older model. I probably would've been sucked into buying the more expensive one that can be programmed by an app. I also like the screen. Really a good buy for price.

When I bought the remote, the sales clerk said, "If you need help, call us and the geek squad can walk you through the set up." So not true. They wanted to charge me $90 to come out to set it up. I finally decided, ok...good investment. Called to set up the appointment and because I am 32 miles away, they wanted to charge an additional $50. Pretty sad. We purchased multiple items from them and they couldn't stand behind product they sell unless they charge you additional money. I have little faith in the geek squad. But love the product now that it is set up correctly. Love the fact that it is set up on my harmony remote account and I will not have to go through the hassle of resetting the remote.

As with any Logitech product I've purchased over the years, this one too is a great value. I wanted something that was inexpensive, easy to set up and use, and this fit the bill perfectly. Online setup was easy, then just plug in with the supplied USB cable and download the setup to the remote. The screen, although a bit small, is easy to read and navigate. It does seem to respond a little slowly and on occasion I've had to push a button twice for it to perform an action. Otherwise this is a great universal remote that can control any of your electronics.
