I have a new Samsung TV and a new Panasonic DVD player. These two remotes along with my DVR and Yamaha Home Theatre remotes were a juggling nightmare. I put all four on my Logitech remote. The Logitech remote performs confidently and consistently with each use.

Great remote, although I was not looking for a new remote I became wary of my family asking "how do I turn on the blue ray player, where is netflix, so on and so on" . This takes care of most of those issues. Initial programming is not difficult but you need to know the models of your equipment.

Once this unit is setup and programmed it is wonderful

The setup is easy enough, but this device just never worked the way it was supposed to. My components would randomly change channels or settings, but they worked fine with the original remotes.

I was skeptical because I've NEVER found a universal remote that did away with all the other remotes. It always seemed that at least one of them could not be accommodated. The Harmony Remote family is for real and recommend it to anyone tired of using several devices just to watch a movie or TV. Even my wife can use it!

I had the Geek Squad program this as part of a home theatre install so I don't really know how hard it was to setup. However, it is certainly easy to use. It works great with my home theatre utilizing a Denon receiver, Samsung TV, DirecTV and Sony BR player.

Every time I turn on tv and cable box I have to go thru help to turn on cable box. Once in a while the on button will correctly turn both on at once but most of the time I need to use help button to correctly turn on cable box.

I've had the $300 harmony and this one is just as good!

very easy to program and will operate all devises.

I have this remote on two of my TV's and the only thing I can find bad about it that it is very sensitive. If you drop it you will have to follow the directions on the remote screen and reset it. Other than that I would recommend it to anyone. The functions are great and the help menu cannot be beat.

This universal remote is great at taking the place of the basic on/off, stop, pause, volume control functions however for use with advance functions such as picture adjustments, surround sound control, etc. it just doesn't mimic the OEM control so you can never leave the original remotes too far out of reach. Also, the pre-programmed "package buttons" that allow you to turn on/off all components necessary for activities such as movie viewing, TV watching, radio listening seem to work sporadically so you constantly have to press the help button so the device can manually toggle on/of various devices to complete the process. One true positive however is that Logitech customer service is very friendly and helpful.

Tough learning curve. after that it is easy to use

IT CERTAINLY BEATS HAVING TO DEAL WITH 4 REMOTES..

The only reason I did not give this product five stars, is because throughout the years, Logitech has changed its PC interface, and I had to call to clear up old remotes. Once it's set up Great remote. They all have their moments.

This unit replaced my much pricier Harmony 890 and I couldn't be happier. Unlike the 890, this unit takes standard batteries, thus eliminating both the charger and the inevitable replacement of the LiON batter the 890 used. The only downside, and it's slight, is that it only replaces 5 remotes, whereas I would have liked 6.
