While it is easy to configure, it can lead to a few extra steps and screens...consequently I have part of my family that adores it and the other half prefers the old controllers for faster and more direct utility.

This is our 2nd Harmony 650. The first one lasted seven years. It survived numerous drops unto the hardwood floor and was crushed under the couch two times that I know of. It always performed and was retired after the numbers finally wore off several of the buttons.

My biggest problem was the limited number of options for devices that could be joined with minimal degree of difficulty in setup. Not as simple as I think it could be to set up when you are joining multiple devices.

the remote does what I bought it to do. runs the volume and turns components on and off maybe in the future I'll learn what all the other buttons are for smart remote smarter than me

Would be a 5 star but took many tries to get DirectTV to work at 100%. You also have to keep the remote pointed at the components for a couple seconds after you push the off button or they all don't turn off.

This remote is nice when controlling multiple devices. Can control up to 5 devices with this one remote. Easy enough set up for the most part. A lot of buttons for a kid to use though.

The Harmony One ($200) died after 3 years! Wanted a replacement with buttons. Wish it had a combination of buttons and touchscreen for greater flexibility and options. Just want it to last longer than the last!

This is my 2nd one of these. The first one I had for over 5 years through lots of heavy-duty use. It did great through lots of drops/falls but it just wore out after all those years. This new one also looks like it will be a keeper - hopefully for another 5 or so years.

I would have given 5 stars all around, but to control my PS3, I would need another $60 attachment for this "universal" remote. The online programming is wonderful, and I highly recommend it, IF you don't watch movies on your PS3.

It's not perfect but for the price its good. Takes a little while to understand the programing. The remote still confuses my wife so that's a plus she doesn't steal the remote that often. I would buy it again.

I have had a couple of these Harmony Remotes and am happy except for some of the more advanced functions— they are not simple to set up. But overall it is cool and allows me to put all my other remotes away in the drawer.

I purchased this remote when it was on sale for $50 which makes it a great value at that price. Just make sure you keep it away from the kids. I've owned many harmony remotes and the LCD screens are very easy to damage from drops.

Logitech - Harmony Universal Remote Control is a good bet for money. I was able to eliminate all of my clutter by using this to control all of my entertainment systems. The best part was that I was able to program this remote with easy. And know what Apple TV is also supported, which is great.

I had the Geek Squad tech add this to my system to simplify using multiple devices. It's a must for anyone confused by too many remotes. The help screen works great to diagnose problems and get them fixed. Well worth the cost to let the Geek Squad program this remote to work with all your devices.

The remote does everything they say, but tends to make it a complete exercise in finding the right menu to operate anything. Other than that it works fine.

This remote is unique because you plug it in to your computer and program it for the devices that you have. It's also simple with a button that says "WATCH TV" and it turns on your TV and cable box. Same thing for Movies, and other devices.

I am glad that we purchased this -- my only complaint is that it takes some getting used to and is a bit slow. Other than that, happy to have it in our home!

This is the least expensive of the Logitech all in one remotes. The value is great but you get what you pay for. The Logitech line has a fairly simple setup website and it's easy to program the remote, however, if you have heavy use the keys start sticking pretty quickly. The remote feels cheap and the keys start to fail within a week or two of purchase. If this is for family use, go with at least the next grade up.

The set up is a little taxing, must be done online. The upside is once you have it set up, your settings are kept online and can be adjusted or re-downloaded for Logitech's site. I love the one touch option, you push one button and it adjust all of your equipment to the correct settings.

Purchased two of these remotes for my house and my daughter's house. Had several pieces of electronics (i.e. DVD, sound systems etc...) that would not work with other universal remotes. The learning feature worked for every device. Simply hands down the BEST!
