This will be short but sweet. This universal remote just works. Using the software to program the remote is easy and can be customized in almost anyway to satisfy personal desires. The only universal remote I have ever used that did exactly what I want it to.

I like how the remote walks you through the application programming on the computer. Overall pretty good. could be better light for night time usage

This unit is easy to use but as the installer indicated we are having some issues with compatability. Some functions don't work properly. The techs are coming back and the problems are being resolved.

I don't know how I could live without this all-in-one remote. To watch TV, play a DVD, listen to the stereo, play my Apple TV, all have to be programmed to specific settings. What a nightmare, that is, until I purchased this Harmony remote. Since, for example, to watch TV, my TV needs to be set to HDMI1, Stereo to HDMI2, and Cable box on; or to watch a DVID or Apple TV, the settings are entirely different, it was a nightmare with multiple remotes, especially trying to recall which setting was necessary for each device. My technologically challenged wife was NEVER able to simply watch TV or play a DVD unless I was home. (She's smarter than I am, it's just that she and technology don't much like each other :) Now, with the click of a single button, the Harmony Remote turns all the right devices on to their proper settings and allows her to control everything with one remote. And she doesn't have to remember which remote controls the playback of a DVD, turns up the volume on the stereo or changes the channel on the DVR. The Harmony is extremely intuitive. So if my wife decides to watch a DVD after watching Verizon Fios TV, she just presses the DVD button on the Harmony and it automatically changes the TV to HDMI2, the stereo to HDMI 2, turns off my Verizon box, turns on my DVD player and she's good to go. And then all the right devices are controlled with one remote. The Harmony 650 can operate up to 5 devices and program many different functions. When you have finished watching, all you have to do is press the OFF button and all devices turn off. AND, if occasionally everything does not turn on correctly (if one device was actually turned on by a mistake or whatever), it has a help button. Depressing it once usually corrects the problem but if not, it will walk you through asking you questions about each device, while making sure each component is programmed to the correct setting. Quite ingenious and idiot-proof. :)

The remote is amazing! Load the batteries, go to the web site, download the software pick the model number of the TV, AMP, DVD Player, Cable Box, Apple TV and configure how you would like to watch and/or listen to each device. I was up and running in less than 5 minutes. After watching and/or listening to each unit, went back to the software (it saved my configuration) tweaked the way I wanted it to operate, and reloaded the changes, it has worked great for several months. I like that it goes into a sleep mode and you don't have to turn it on and off. The battery life looks to be good so far, I have only had it a couple of months. When you pick it up it turns on the LCD screen and displays the current information in the display. The keys are understandable and easy to read. I have changed cable boxes since I originally set up the remote, so I went online, changed the cable box on my configuration , reloaded it and it worked! Well mostly, I had forgotten to reconfigure everything to work with the new cable box, so I admit to having to go back and reprogram the device again. However this only took about 3 minutes and I was up and running. The software even reminded me to reconfigure and I didn't, so it was operator error not the remote of software! The only suggestion to make it better is, since it is black on the backside, they put a glow-in-the-dark strip along the back, because at night it is hard to find when it is face down on the couch! If that is the only real complaint, I say it is a great device.

We would have had four remotes with our new system. The Geek that installed and set up our system programmed our new remote and it works GREAT! Only one remote.....love it! We would highly recommend that you spend the few extra bucks, it's worth it!

I only purchased this remote for at the time it was on sale for a great price, i did not really have the need for it. It has succeeded my expectations greatly. I can control my xbox, Directv dvr, my tv and sound bar. Setup was super easy tho it took a minute to really understand it. Highly recommend this for people with multiple remotes or lost ones. Mainly this has been great for my since the remote that came with my directv set top box was awful and I had to stand in front of it to even get the remote to do anything, the harmony remote is so much better.

Absolutely live this remote. Gone are the numerous remotes for this device, that device, and oh yes that one too. I now have one remote to so it all. Goodbye clutter. The harmony is so easy to program. The only complaint is "Why didn't I do this sooner"!!!!

I found the remote easy to set up and the tech assist line was very helpful when I needed help fine tuning the remote to accomplish what I wanted to do. I would definitely recommend this remote.

Son-In-Law convinced me to go out and get an universal remote and I am sure glade I did. The Logitech - Harmony 650 replaces 3 remotes one one. Best of all its easy to use and set up so simple.

Wow instead of six remotes I now have one! It is beyond amazing to switch between components and easily enjoy each one. Even my TiVo and stereo are controlled with this one remote. Fantastic!!!

I have four tv’s and 4 Logitech remotes and they all make my life easier. I am even thinking about a fifth in case something happens to one. The Geek Squad programmed them for me. I do go through a lot of batteries but worth it

This my second one of these remotes. My only issue is that over time the buttons don't work as well as they did when they were new. It also has a problem with the number of times it gets dropped.

This is my third Logitech Harmony remote. Previously the Geek Squad set up my remote with the install of a new TV and surround system. My 2nd unit was set up my my son. i was thrilled when I was able to set up this unit by myself in a few minutes online.

Purchased with ne TV and speakers, etc. This remote works very well for what we use it for. It was set up and explained by the installer. It is usually self-correcting when we mess up which has been very helpful. Only complaint is buttons are very small.

My experience with the the Harmony 650 remote has been generally good. The programming went smoothly until I tried to configure Amazom. While Netflix works fine, I still have to resort to other remotes to get it to work. I have tried to contact Harmony Support without any luck. I gave up, but I'll probably try again.

This universal remote does work really well. Takes a good amount of time to program, and it sure makes it easier if you know the make and exact (I mean EXACT) model of the components you wish it to add. This is not always the easiest thing in the world when items are mounted on the wall, up very high, etc. However, once you get a hang of the programming you're able to rule your components in a veritable symphony of control.

The Logitech remote control is an way to use handy device that eliminates the need to have 6-7 units I used to use. The device is easily programmed and Logitech keeps up with the newest electronics remote programming required to update this controller. The button layout is well thought out. So far I haven’t found any things I have that are not in the remote’s repitore! The ability to control a collection of devices in a particular order with one one press is the best feature of this controller.

This remote was super easy to set up with my equipment and works well most of the time. Once in a while it won't turn on my cable box and I have to hit help and run it thru the fixes before it will turn on the box. Not a deal breaker but a minor annoyance. It could be the cable box but the cable box remote turns it on every time if I use it so I'm betting not. One other small thing is it seems to run thru batteries fairly quick.

Very cool remote i have it set up to 5 different devices and can hit one button and watch a movie, have the surround sound come on and the input automatically switch on the tv... Very cool
