    The remote is a great layout and has lots of Macro abilities. However, this unit seems to not hold programming for certain functions beyond a few days. Also, when firing up my system it seems to lag in commands and takes roughly 1 full minute to initialize everything.

    It is possible to use this one remote instead of the three or four that I had used in the past. You have to go through a variety of button pushing when just using this one, and you do have to get used to it. That being said, I would purchase it again, so all is well.
