It's a great idea and if the whole one touch activity thing worked, it would be awesome. However, it will never turn on the sound system with the activity buttons. You have to hit help and wait for it to come to the sound system and tell it no it's not on. After the second time of asking if it's on now, it'll come on. It's really a pain and would be easier just to hit the power buttons on a regular universal remote than this attempt at activity automation. Stay away from it, just buy a regular universal remote.

I haven't used mine yet, the software download for windows keeps looping back to download page. I'll update after more attempts.

Programming was easy. Works most of the time, sometimes you have to hit a button a couple times to get everything where you want.

I really liked the idea but when it came to setting up the remote for all of my devices it became much too tedious and in the end I took it back.

Had problems with it not working with certain devices. The company was really good at getting back and helping with questions. Still hasn't resolved the issue though.

My tv requires my to use menu options in order to listen to music and movies and this remote didn't have the menu options I need. I'll need to buy the 300 dollar version.

One of the most frustrating products we have ever used! Tech husband hates it. Pain to set up - requires installing unwanted software. Seems to occasionally change settings for unknown reasons. Can't get it to turn on multiple devices using the settings that were programmed into it (most specifically, selecting an output to go with "watch tv" or "watch movie"). This means if you've been watching a movie (after the painstaking process of setting up the devices), it will not change inputs if you turn it off and select TV. A pretty basic request. The setup programming software has you select an input for "watch tv" but it doesn't work. And if you happen to walk over to your tv to turn it on, expect that the remote will have no idea the tv IS on and you will have to somehow turn it off so you can turn it on again using the remote. If you thrive on frustration, don't mind doing everything yourself (instead of having it made easy by the "universal" remote), be prepared for a life filled with happiness. But if you expected more from your remote, you may be disappointed. Oh, the lights are nice and it feels comfortable in your hand. There. I said something nice.

Despite ease of programming, not all individual remote functions are captured. Good when works well, but the functions gets messed up at times.

functions for the remote seem complicated. Imprints on the buttons was too small. Returned to Best Buy.

This thing is far from perfect but better than the five remotes previously used. The best thing is the help section when it doesn't work correctly.

I am happy with it when it works, it's great! Problem is it resets it self from time to time and we have to reprogram it, this sucks a lot

Nothing works like it should. Setup was super easy but none of the four devices that I have synced with the remote function correctly. I've stopped using this device and went back to using the four separate remotes. It may be an inconvenience to have the four remotes, but they work like they should when this remote doesn't.

The unit is sensitive to turn on and turn off. Geek Squad installed, so I don't know how difficult it was. For the price, the unit should have better signal strength

it's an okay remote however I constantly have to click help to turn off/on my tv. I shouldn't have to reprogram the remote this often.

worked okay the first couple months I owned it. After that it turned into a useless brick. Restarts every other time I try to use it, remote assistant turns on constantly but wont help at all and will not go away. Continuously exits out of the activity I am using it for. I really only used it for watching media with my xbox one; not very complicated but using the remote started doing more harm than good - THREW IT IN THE TRASH.

This has helped us consolidate to one universal remote - it is challenging for some family memebers that are not as comfortable with techology

It does what it says but sometimes it's cumbersome, just keeps you pushing buttons trying to get it to function properly. Requires patience.

Spent hours programming and reprogramming the remote and over an hour on the phone with tech support. The remote was easy to program but after the first use to turn on devices, it would not work again and had to be reprogrammed. Tech support was friendly and supportive but could not solve the problem. I returned it and a second unit that was unopened.

Waist of money. It does what its supposed to do but just makes more sence to download pay for an app on my phone.

Once we finally got it programmed (two+ hours after talking to customer service) it has been ok. It has to be facing the TV directly or it won't work.
