I bought one of these a few years ago, and some of the control buttons do not work anymore. While it was working 100%, it was very good.

I unit was great for a few weeks then the keyboard lights started staying on which runs the batteries down in no time.

Remote didn't work for devices I have. Wouldn't work for dish. Can do just as much with the dish remote that I could do with this. I returned it

This is a great device. It's so easy to use anyone could use it. The customization on this remote is beyond what I ever thought you could ever do with a universal remote, if you can think it, you can customize it that way. I have had this remote for 5 months now and haven't had any problems with the battery compartment or anything to do with the batteries. Haven't had any problems with syncing it to my hp laptop to change the settings. If you have an XBOX 360, you're in luck, you can control the entire dashboard and anything else the 360 controller can do, besides play games with it. You can't with the ps3 because the ps3 uses bluetooth, this remote doesn't have bluetooth. If you get a bad remote, take it back and get another one, once in a while you'll get a bad product, not everything in the world is made 100% the same, if you don't like it at all, get your money back. The batteries that came with it didn't last long, so I recommend getting better batteries or rechargeable kind. And don't go thinking to yourself now "I guess the batteries don't last long at all with this remote" NOT TRUE. They last a long time for the rechargeable kind im using. The remote comes on when you pick it up and shuts off a few seconds after you put it down, and even if you don't pick it up, it will still come on if you just press a button. You can add any pictures to the screen as the four buttons that are on the side of the screen. I will be buying this remote for my dad for christmas.

It controls all my devices but it can be buggy. Sometimes it doesn’t recognize everything and I need to resync.

I bought it bc it was on sale. I saved 14 bucks. I shouldve bought the better quality remote. I returned it a few days after puchase.

It's a good remote. A bit of a pain to set up. Would never spend the money to have the Geek Squad program this. Not thrilled but I don't hate it.

Set up was cumbersome and expected it to be more user friendly. You still have to switch between devices to fully control options such as volume and channel guide. The remote has problems switching all devices on and off and requires you to go to help function.The layout of buttons is awkward and the channel keypad buttons to select channels are too small. I find the standard remote from Time Warner to be easier to use.

Great idea and concept but often long wait before the series of comands are exected despite not adding delays

Way too complicated to use and not worth the money or the effort, just use factory remotes, iPhone remote apps or get up off your lazy....

buy something else, second time i have bought a harmony remonte. these things are garbage, they simply dont work like you would expect.

This remote is overall good, it can get complicated at times and hard to get used to but once you get the hang of it, it works fine.

The Harmony 650 is advertised as a "do-it-all" control for the TV home theater. While it has some cool features, it does not live up to the advertised ease of use. Many functions that are advertised as included, don't work. It was programmed to work with a Panasonic TV and a Yamaha receiver. The basic functions (on and off) work but the specialized functions do not.

Not bad but I guess I expected more. I was particularly disappointed with the illuminated buttons - not very bright at night.

The remote often fails to turn on or off all devices then you have to press the help button and go through a list of yes/no questions before getting everything turned on or off. Also when using Netflix, VUDU and other smart device apps the remote often doesn't work after the program/movie is started so I have to exit and go back in to pause, rewind or fast forward. Very fustrating. Not what I expected.

I'm not tech savvy so this remote was be on my know how. It's suppose to do all kinds of things but I can't figure it out

It's good to have a single remote for different devices. Was a little hard to get used to working it but once we figured it out was good to go!

This remote is complicated to configure and once done its not the easiest thing to use. would not recomend it for everyone.

Works like it's supposed to but I found it annoying going through all the diifferent screens to get the one I wanted.

I can't control the settings on my sound bar which is the whole reason I bought it other then that it works as it should
