way to complicated to use. the sales person over sold us on this item. we said we wanted something easy.

Tricky to set up and harder to use. For an all in one remote i would keep looking. This one is horrible.

Great remote. I have 4 different components I need to control, with 3 different activities (Cable, Apple TV, and Xbox). Really got tired of using 4 different remotes to move about my experience. Purchased this remote after some research and a chat with a very knowledgeable sales person. I could not be more pleased.

Have Dishnet/Roku/Samsung N8000. Did not smoothly control any of the three,

I wanted a good remote that worked all my devices. I did not want to spend this much money but glad I did!! Worth every penny. Once I learned how to program it using the website and my computer I realized what I had here. A single remote that would work what I wanted how I whated. What a concept!!

We could not get this to sync with our Xbox One or DirecTV system, so had to return it.

Don't bother. It is a waste of money if you want to try to simplify to one remote. It doesn't work.

Remote failed to connect with all devices despite info in the instructions that said it should.

I was looking for a simple solution for the wife to be able to turn all the gear on to watch tv, play a blu-ray or use the Xbox with one remote. This works great for that! The set up is very easy, just use the online program guide to load in your model of tv, blu-ray player, AV receiver, and it does the rest! It even works to control the Xbox when watching Netflix or playing a HD-DVD. One button will turn everything on and switch inputs. If something doesn't turn on, the remote will learn which items are having trouble and will fix the problem after a few unsuccessful attempts. For the price, this is a hard to beat solution!

Great remote that I had no problem setting up to use my old components. My previous experience with universal remotes was that old components and receivers wouldn't work. That was not the case with this remote. It was able to program all my components with no problem. You do have to know the brand and model numbers of your components. (Usually it'll say on the back.) I did have to google one of my components to find the correct model number. Overall, an excellent buy. You definitely want to set up your activities. It makes everything alot easier to use. Only con is the screen menu navigation takes a little bit to get used to.

If I could do it over again I would spend the extra money to get the version that has a charging dock. The batteries on this remote die very quickly, however, I do love the functionality.

I bought a universal remote a few years ago that cost me hundreds of dollars and although it is more customizable than this one, I still prefer this one a lot more simply for the ease of use. You're not going to find a better universal remote for the price, guaranteed. The only con about this remote is that you have to point it towards your devices for a few seconds to make sure everything turns on or off appropriately but I think most universal remotes have this delay issue. Another cool thing about it is that it works with the PS3 (as long as you also buy the adaptor which I did)...well worth it!
