Going from 5 remotes to one is great. Set up was very simple and easy and it is auto programmed. Display is small but decent and you can scroll through to find the right contol needed for that devise. The one touch turn on and turn off function is very nice. For the price I payed, $40, it's hard to beat

I have owned several Harmony remotes and this one is the best so far - easy to set up via a PC - great customization - ergonomically outstanding - I would highly recommend this remote - coupled with the Harmony PS3 adapter it controls the PS3 , FIOs Multiroom DVR , A Sony Receiver, and a Samsung TV

For the most part, setup was easy. The remote works excellent. The program logitec uses for setup is a bit less user friendly, but not impossible to navigate. The equipment the remote is controling ranges from a few months to ten years old and the remote works flawlessly with all of them. Great remote.

I picked this remote on sale. I looked at them before, but I was not sure on the easy of use. I got the remote home, unpacked it, and read the directions (not a norm for me). I have to admit the directions were very helpful with the setup of the remote. The directions stated approximately 30 minute setup time. It was far easier than I expected. Obtained all of my device information and went to the website for software and setup. Followed the easy setup screens, plugged in the remote and we were off and running. Now the good part, the wife loves it and she hates changing tech. It was very easy to show her the how to of the remote. She has yet to call me about the various functions. Good bye OEM remote pile on the end table.

Works well! When people visit, they know exactly how to use the electronics, even my Mom. :) And the Help feature works really well.

I had to purchase this since using multiple remotes was driving my family crazy. Setup was simple via USB cord to CPU to Logitech website. The kids love that I have downloaded the icons of their favorite channels onto the remote & they can easily select their channels. My only semi-issue is that I like to watch my LCD with the surround system & the kids could care less so I have to do a few extra steps to get the surround to work when I watch TV. Listening to surround when I watch a DVD is a snap-but I obviously cannot have the TV audio hooked up to 2 things-no biggie really-I certainly have been pleased with it and my family now has less angst when navigating the LCD. PS-even the Wii is easier since you can program a game device & simply press one button and the output channel goes right to AV2-slide a game in and you're good to go.

This remote was very easy to program and use. The brands and devices it supports is very broad. I have to hide the other devices to get my wife to use this remote. The colored buttons are not labeled so it takes some time for her to remember what they control. I used this remote to replace the DVR, BlueRay Player, Surround Sound Receiver and TV remotes.

I was skeptical at first between getting this or the 300 series. I have a Denon receiver, and given the number of parameters you can change on that device I wasn't quite sure how a generic remote would be able to give me access to all the different settings. And this is where the display in the 650 shines!! Basically, you end up getting a visual guide to all the different settings. For the most part, you dont even need to look at the small displays on the receiver. I wouldn't honestly know how the 300 unit can do it without the display ...maybe you would end up having to customize buttons for those. Overall, very impressed at what this thing can do. Given how much I spend on Comcast each month, I wish Comcast included something useful like this. Definitely worth buying, specially if you are using a receiver....

Great remote. Setup was easy and took about 20 minutes. Controls Vizio TV, Sony Blu-Ray, Dishnetwork HD DVR, and old Phillips surround sound. No more looking for mutilple remotes lost by 3 yr old. Would buy this product again.

I just bought a new 3D TV and home theater system. I already had an older harmony remote and decided to go ahead and replace it since everything else is new. If you don't have a Harmony remote, this will be the best $70 you ever spent! Very easy to control all components with this one!

Have 5 devices, from an old VCR/DVD player and a brand new network-ready TV. Remote works all of them and selects the devices needed for an activity - for example, to watch TV, only the TV, cable box and sound system turn on. Also very helpful is multi-step programming capability. For example, to watch Netflix, TV must be (1) turned on, (2) turned to a particular input and (3) have the "Smart Hub" turned on. Remote does all that so all I have to do is click on Netflix. Doesn't always transition completely from one activity to another - for example: when switching from Watch TV to Watch Movie, the cable box may be left on. Somewhat difficult to figure out start/stop/fast forward etc during DVD and Netflix shows. If remote gets off track, but the devices you want are on correctly, just cover front of remote with your hand, hit the "all off" button, then the activity button you want and things should work well.

smart tv remote broke, got this to replace, ended up using it for every piece of electronics in living room dvd, home theatre, tv. Programming is awesome plug it in to computer go to website click on electronics model and presto auto programmed works everything, no searching for codes and trial an error entry. A little pricey but worth it.

Just bought this because i got a new LCD,Blu Ray Player, and Receiver with 5.1 Surround and had too many remotes. The Logitech software was very easy to user and the remote worked with all of my devices. Everything works flawlessly.

    Good universal remote, but...

This is a good universal remote and works well with my Vizio TV, Dish Hopper, Yamaha receiver and Toshiba DVD player. I would give this 5 stars but for these 2 issues: - when starting all the components, the remote needs to stay pointed at the components for about 15 seconds before it becomes "fully functional" - the OK button is too small, and clicking it requires precision and focus

The Harmony 650 is a great remote. It's very easy to program through your computer as long as you know your Hdmi inputs. I have my tv, cable box, blue ray player, and my stereo receiver on mine. The remote is very simple to operate. I turned 4 remotes into 1. I would highly recommend this remote.

Real easy to set up via the website. Works with my Samsung 8000, and my Denon 7200. Issues with my Scietific Explorer Cablevision DVR box. Doesn't al\ways turn it on, but easy to fix with the remote. Recommend this to anyone needing to consolidate their electronics.

Good It served the purpose of my wife complaining about 10 different remotes. This is a great remote, but what made it more easier to purchase was when I bought it, the price was $64.99 not $99.99 (do not buy at that price!) It served a purpose, setting it up is for techies, once it is set up, just push an activity and it turns on any devices assigned to that activity, and changes the source and even the source on your receiver! The bad In order for you to use your xbox, you need to change a setting in there like use remote control. Then you control it, the biggest issue is that powering the xbox on or off is not easy as the remote need to fix it all the time. But once the xbox is on, then it controls everything just fine

Good Value easy to program. Works with Fios Motorola DVR. Sometimes it doesn't power up or power down everything, If you hit the help button it will walk you through the steps to complete the Task.

I bought this remote specifically for my wife. Since I created a home-theater set-up, it's been a frustrating learning curve for her with all of the devices, inputs, etc. I got this remote this past weekend, and the bottom line is that my wife loves it. It's easy to use, well-laid out, and it runs on batteries vs. a plug-in rechargeable batteries. This last part is important because she didn't want to have one more thing to plug in. Set-up was a breeze. Not counting downloading and installing the software, the set-up was maybe 20 minutes tops. I'd highly recommend this remote.
