Great remote and good price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because I broke my original T.V remote. It was incredibly easy to set up and it walks you through how to use it when your done setting it up. It has worked great for me and I love it. The only drawback I had was the fact it does not share some features between inputs. What I mean by this is when I'm on the blu ray player input I have to switch to the T.V input just to do the volume. I know that sounds obvious but LG and Vizio have the same volume codes. My original vizio remote works the volume on my T.V so I would think this remote would to. Thats it though and thats just a very small drawback.

3 of these in my house, all working great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have installed roughly 100 Harmony remotes for customers, friends, and family, and have never been disappointed. The Harmony 650 is probably the best one that I have used for the money, if you have a simple setup. All Harmony remotes offer easy control of any devices that are control by IR, and the 650 is no different. Pros -Easy to program -East to use -Just the right number of buttons without a lot of extras -Great Harmony support included Cons -Would like to be able to control more than 5 devices. That sounds like a lot, but if you have a TV, Receiver, Cable Box, DVD Player, and streaming device, that is all that you get. If you need a way to get rid of that small pile of remotes in your living room and use one, this remote is the way to go.

In Love w/ a Remote
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never thought I would say I was in LOVE with a remote but "I AM". So easy to set up. Connect the remote to your PC and enter in all your equipment with the easy step by step guide on the harmony website. Even easier to use. Before my Harmony remote I was using a "so called" universal remote that would only work on half of my stuff. So I was still stuck using multiple remotes. NOT ANYMORE thanks to this baby. One button and I can watch TV (which turns on my sound system as well as the tv at one time). One button and I can watch a dvd (tv, dv player, and sound system all on at one time). Just with the push of ONE button. Did you hear me...one button...LOVE IT. No more power on this and then power on that. And ONE button again will turn them all off when I am done.

Too flaky
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was a pretty cool little remote. The setup was really easy with the software. But the operation from very flaky. Every time you did a command the screen asked if everything worked right. If you said no, it tried turning things off and on again to fix it. Although it said it had all the remote commands for my Onkyo receiver, several of the commands didn't work. I tried "teaching" the Logitec the Onkyo remote commands, it said it learned them but they still didn't work. Specifically it was the up/down/left/right/enter navigation buttons. It just couldn't learn them.

Works on all my devices! (even my sound bar)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never wanted to pay such a high price for a remote but I did catch it on sale and so glad I did. Works on everything...even my sound bar which I didnt think it would. I replaced 4 remotes that I was always searching for on the couch and constantly losing one on the floor or inbetween the cushions. Highly reccommend!!

It works well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The remote was very easy to setup. I have windows 7 and silverlight, and I had no issues. I have read other reviews stating that combination equals failure, I assume that's actually user error. I miss the input button. Now instead of hitting the input button to switch between inputs, I have to select my TV, and change inputs from there. I like that this remote automatically adds features of the devices real remote. For example, on the Harmony 300 I had to teach the Netflix button from my home theatre system, this one picked it up on the screen. Overall, I'm pleased with this remote.

The remote is great, set up was okay
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So the remote is wonderful for the devices I paired with it. TV, HT receiver, DirecTV box, HDMI switch. The easy setup on the logitech website made the macro buttons easy to setup and it worked fine after the first setup, except for my HDMI switch. I had to download and install the actual software on my PC in order to set up the HDMI switch and make it do exactly what I wanted, and even then I wish the logitech software had the ability to make fully custom macro buttons. I realize that they've streamlined it to be "easier" for the average user, but for us technophiles it was a little too simple.

Performs as advertised. Easy setup.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Harmony 650 was easy to setup and controls all five components in my AV system, as advertised. The only part of setup that may be difficult for some is writing down the make and model of each device and the associated inputs and outputs. It took me about 30 minutes to find this information, then in 5 minutes the remote was ready to go. I was impressed by the setup software. The information for 4 of 5 my component remotes was in the database, point, click, done. Setting up the remote for my DirecTV DVR reqired sending a few signals from the old remote to the Harmony 650, as prompted by the setup software.

Easy to setup universal remote.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gather your component list prior to setup and it will go smoothly. Absolutely works as advertised. It controls all the sub-functions all components connected together in a system. I highly recommend this unit.

Great Inexpensive Remote
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have three harmony remotes and all work great. I have two of this particular model and find it very easy to set up macros, add icons for favorite channels and customize what the buttons do… all very necessary so my kids 5 and 7 and my wife can control everything! The only thing that is disappointing is that you have to create individual “accounts” to set up each remote if you have multiple. It gets a bit difficult to keep track of this if you need to make changes.

Difficult to program, but tech support really good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller is great for its intended use of one controller for every device connected to television. Much better then using three separate controllers. Draw back is owners manuel is too technical and not made for novice user. Very good point tech support is outstanding in that they will walk you through the set up procedure.

Amazing remote functionality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a sound bar, TV, ps3, ps4, and cable. I use ARC and have both Playstations hooked up to the sound bar, with the cable and sound bar going straight to the TV. I have used all the functions I could, auto on, standby, ARC, so I didn't think I needed a universal remote. I was wrong. This thing is amazing! It just works really well. I can choose which item turns on first (to avoid unwanted auto on#, I can add my most used buttons #Picture setting for TV, Sound setting for Sound bar, I programmed the Netflix button from my TV, I programmed the my dvr button as well.. and more). I enjoy products that are easy and work extremely well, this is one of those! Highly recommend.

Absolutely Amazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this remote to replace the four remotes I was currently having to juggle through. I now control my TV, sound bar, Apple TV, and Xbox One with this one remote! The setup was extremely simple and user friendly. Total setup time was about 15 minutes! I would recommend this remote to anyone!

Great all in one remote
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: easy to set up customizable Cons: rattles when you pick it up which I'm told is supposed to happen because it's the sensor, need to get used to it.

Excellent Remote for DirecTV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I couldn't get my newly purchased Samsung soundbar HW-F355 to work with my DirecTV RC65RCBX remote. I searched the internet for codes, called DTV several times, and went to their website to no avail. I popped on this remote from Best Buy for $60, and It works like a charm. Setup was fairly easy through a usb cable and a computer. If you don't like having more than one remote to control your setup, this is the deal. No regrets about buying this remote. If I was forced to say one bad thing about it, I would comment about the bottom of the remote being not tacky enough, which is why I rated it good and not excellent in the durability category. Not a deal breaker by any means.

Maximum bang for your buck
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this on sale for little more than the 300 model which sells for $29. I have a mixed brand set up with two Sony, one Toshiba, and one Motorola cable box. If you write down the model number printed on each peice of equipment, DVD, TV, etc; sit down at your Windows PC, plug in the remote by USB cable (provided with remote), and answer questions on how you plugged them together, your done! You must know which plug ins are connected to your tv input panel, AV reciever input and output cables and how they are labeled. If you can do that, it works like magic!

Did just what I wanted
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first you must do is create a Logitec account. Once done, connect USB to computer and remote, then login and follow the easy instructions. It found even my older equipment. GREAT PRODUCT!,

Another excellent remote from Logitech
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the 650 to replace the 510 I am giving to my parents. Had the 510 for a few years and loved it, so I had no qualms about buying a new 650. After connecting the 650 to my computer and logging onto the web site to programe the new remote I found it was easier then programing the first remote. All the settings from the 510 were transferred to the new 650.

My wife is not intimidated by our electronics....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this device and my wife says she can now watch a DVD. She wouldn't even try before. I setup this device, which was easy but must be done in IE, but it was easy enough. The setup was straight forward and very easy to understand. You must have a pretty good knowledge of how your devices are setup in your system. You will need to know the inputs and such for the configuration As for the use, it functions great. I have setup many activities for various things and it will change all devices to the correct ports with one button. Be warned, if you use this for a PS3, you will need an additional adapter as the PS3 has no IR port. All in all a great device and has worked great so far.

Pleasantly Surprised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't expecting much when I purchased this remote. However, I was pleasantly surprised with it's ease of programming and use. I LOVE the back lit keys! I also own the 1100. It is just as easy and effective as the 1100, but it can only control five devices and doesn't have a charging cradle. I'd give it five stars, if it had those upgrades, but I'd probably have paid $50-$70 more. I will be buying another one in the near future.
