I took it right out of the box, hooked it to the computer and it programmed easily. The one thing which took long was making sure I had the correct model number, but other than that the remote works perfect!

the Logitech Remote was very easy to set up and simple to use. Now we do not have 4 remotes lying around. Why did we not purchase sooner? Ordering on line and picking it up at the store was very helpful.

The remote is very easy to setup. You just connect it to your pc and choose what devices you want it to operate. you can set up profiles that allow you to switch to certain devices with the push of one button. It works very well controlling all of my devices and in some cases it works better than the ones that came with them. My one complaint about it is very minor but sometimes when you hit a button to turn on multiple devices one of them will not turn on, then you have to use the "help" button to fix it.

I've owned others and the newest version is even better. I hated having so many remotes and this product has made working all my electronic much easier.

This remote was more expensive than the other universal remotes, but the salesman recommended it. The software was the key. Once you have the model numbers of the devices the rest is simple. It worked the first time perfectly. I think there must be a way to incorporate additional features on the cable remote to allow us to purchase movies but I haven't taken the time to look into it. We were more concerned that it worked with our receiver ( the original volume stopped working). On that score it is perfect.

Very easy to setup and if you have trouble with tech than just do a YouTube search for this model. My only issue is that the batteries do not stay securely in place due to a small gap that is a result of manufacturing defect. This causes the batteries to shift if the remote is dropped or put down rough and will make you go through the display screen steps again.

Unlike earlier trials with unified remotes, this one sets up easily, works logically, and controls every important day-to-day function on TV, AV receiver, cable box and Blu-Ray player. Highly recommended.

The Geek Squad set up the remote with my system - very convenient and glad I didn't have to bother with it. I like that if something doesn't turn on or off correctly, pressing the Help button will go through a few questions to solve the problem. I wish it really did "everything" that the TV can do, but for most actions that would take 3-4 different remote controls, it is outstanding - watching tv, watching a movie, listening to music, playing a video game, accessing the Smart Hub apps - it does all of those perfectly, and that's 95% of what I do with the system.

This remote was a life saver. My original remote fell and broke so I ran out and got this one, best purchase yet. It works really good with my smart tv.

Its so nice to have one remote for all of my devices. It takes a few days to get used to, but its very easy after that. It is reliable and convenient.

Being an older person the remote scared me at first knowing it would operate everything. The tech.showed me how it worked and it was very easy. It has a help button that will fix any problem you have.

This remote is far better than having 3 different remotes to watch TV or a movie. For me there is a learning curve, still do not know all of the functions.

I couldn’t get all of my devices to play nice with my U-verse remote. Programed this remote in less than 5 minutes... it works flawlessly! Get one and ditch the bunch of remotes you have in front of you!

Overall really like this remote. The setup is very easy and you do it on your computer. Very simple to use and browse through the menus. It takes a while to get used to it but once you do then it works like a charm. It does run into some glitches at times but I think it's mostly the devices not responding or maybe you are on the wrong menu, but overall I really enjoy using it. Very easy for my wife and daughter to just press a button and turn on TV, soundbar and directv and manage it all from 1 remote.

My son programmed this remote with no difficulty to 4 devices. The power on is not instant but not a problem for our household. We are enjoying one remote

Nice remote and easily customized to your device and better than factory remote but for me personally I prefer the higher end remotes from Logitech.

ok this remote is a great deal for people who are looking to emlinate multiple remotes down to one. Software is very easy to use and setup remote. I bought this for a very simple setup. TV, Blurry player, cable box, roku. My family prefers this one over the elite. It is much simpler and you can't usually get this for $40ish on sale. Personally the 700 really only offers black color and a rechargeable battery which most people prob have already.

It does everything in both FIOS Mode and Streaming Mode. Only drawback there is so much it can do that the buttons are a little small.

It does everything I want and more. I love the fact I can program it not like other universal remotes. One draw back is I wish i could program it wirelessly but you need a computer to program the buttons
