Overall, I like the remote. I did have trouble getting it programmed initially as I did not get a User's Manual in my package and the Quick Set Up Guide lacked steps on how to complete the programming. The remote occasionally misses setting the proper HDMI channel or the wrong device on a multifunction system (selects Radio vs DVD) requiring me to run the Help function. This is probably a device timing issue.

So I bought one of these for my mother last Christmas and decided to buy myself one. I am able to operate everything with this remote. The only issue I have is when i'm going from watching a movie back to watching TV. For some reason the input will not change back. I also wish that the remote would work with my Wii, but its not the remote's fault. I need to go back and make sure all my settings are correct.

This remote replaced a previous Harmony remote. Even though the set up program is slightly different it remembered all my devices from my old Logitech remote and transferred them over to the new one. Took less than 30 minutes. This remote doesn't seem to eat up batteries and will give notification on your TV screen when the batteries are low. Love this remote for the price!

have it for 2 months now: Value of Price - since it came down to less than $50, was worth it. Ease of Set Up - at first not so easy. would not take initial upload - froze. had to Google for directions to setup in safe mode. after that, future uploads were smooth Durability - have toddlers, nuff said. Would give it 5 stars if not for the following: Initial setup froze and limitation to only 5 devices.

Best universal remote I ever used. I have three in the house easy set up and use. My six year old has no problems.

Finally one remote! Great remote that is easy to setup and pair with multiple devices. Add on for PS3 available too!

Only negative that I have so far experienced is that the learning feature does not seem to be too bright. For example, when I go from playing a game to watching television the part where the tv is supposed to change its HDMI input it hangs up and when you select the help feature it fixes the problem but it will happen again each time.

This was the best universal remote i have owned to date this will operate all of your systems and is user friendly for just about anyone.. The big plus for me is when you setup the model numbers for each device you add on it will automatically setup the remote to be capable of adjusting say your sound bars different surround settings etc.. All in all its the best remote if your looking to get rid of several remotes.

My wife couldn't believe we found a remote that runs every device we have... Even my 25 year old Pioneer CD-Jukebox...

Still learning functions but great to have a universal remote.

It's a great remote. It would have been better if you can specify which device controls a button when you're in an activity.

Universal remotes are always a challenge - but this one has beaten them all. First one failed after two weeks. And second one works occasionally. The online setup was frustrating (to put it in polite terms) and failed the first three/four/five times. Overly complex in the setup process, particularly when you add devices (i.e. sound bar, woofer, etc.). I work with technology on a daily basis and I could not get a reliable setup programmed. Am now waiting for the third (yes the third) visit from the intrepid Geek Squad (good folks but over-matched by lousy devices). Thinking how I can undo this whole process of smart TV and all related devices that relies on this sad little remote with buttons the size of a pin head. I read many of the positive reviews and haven't a clue how they could be talking about the same device. I have revived the old cable remote which at least works reliably with TV. I won't even begin to discuss the layout of the buttons on the device - it would make a web director weep. User experience? Not a factor in the Harmony design or construction.

The remote itself worked great. The batteries we were told would last 2 to 3 months. They lasted 3 weeks. This takes 2 AA Alkaline Batteries. It recommends using quality batteries. We used Duracell. Replacement of batteries every 3 weeks is a bit costly in the long run. Returned the unit.

Easy to use overall, though it tends to "forget" where it was last or change to a different setting on occasion, requiring you to go back to the TV or cable/satellite box to control your channels, volume, etc. The motion sensor was a nice touch. Certainly not perfect, but for $50 or less, a remote to seriously consider, particularly if you have several separate remotes to contend with.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago and have had no issues at all. It was very easy to set up. I was up and running in about 15 mins. I have not found a function it cannot do. I have a Samsung TV, Direct TV box, ONKYO surround system, an old Toshiba DVD player and an ONKYO CD player (also old). For the money it is outstanding. I am thinking of buying another one for the den.

We love having a universal remote. Easy to use online setup
