Im running win7 x64 and the program install was easy. The only thing I have heard bad about this remote is the set up but I did not have any issues. A word of advice read the instructions and everything will be fine. Overall I am very happy with this remote.

I have a Harmony One for the main TV it works great, bought the 650 for master bedroom which is simpler configuration. Had a hard time setting remote up, but once I got it done it work really good.

Exactly as advertised. Very easily setup through computer. Worked perfectly the first time. Operates tv, cable, and audio system perfectly with one touch control. I like the simplicity of the controller better than any other programmable remote I have tried.

On this remote it holds 5 devices, on other universal remotes they used over 5 devices. On the device it needs 4 AAA batteries. If you have a hard time to see what the words are on the remote, you can press glow button at anytime to see the words ASAP.

Unfortunately I purchased this without reading all reviews on the NET (not just Best Buy). Set up was easy but lengthily and the unit worked like a charm. Then about four weeks into my affair with the unit it started acting up. The unit simply would not turn my Onkyo amp on or off. Re-synced the unit and it worked fine for a day or two then the same issue. Going through the help screen like the instructions said did not help. Went back to the syncing program and used the learning mode to wit it responded by working once. Got the idea I should start over and removed all the devices and reloaded, same issue. I decided to see if I could do a reset only to find out that this model doesn’t have that option. End of story, it now sits in my junk electronics drawer.

Great product, works as advertised. Easy to set up online, and easy to use. Occasionally gets confused if you move it during the power on sequencing for the devices, but pressing the "Help" button usually resolves all issues.

Another great remote from Logitech. The test: can my baby boomer parents and 91 year old grandmother operate everything they need with this remote. The answer is a resounding "Yes!!! Finally they can!!" No more calls to "fix" the remote. Heaven.

This thing is far smarter than I am. The installers set it up and all I have to do is press a button to get the system to do what I want it to do...but I have to press the correct button.

I liked this remote so much I bought 2. I have one in my media room and in my living room. Set up was fast and easy and both work perfect. I had no need for the advanced features of some of the higher priced units and the 1 button function is great.

with a TV, blue ray, Wi, and on and on, all those remotes can get in the way. Escpecially for dummies like me..... One remote one button and it does everything.... Of course I had the Geek Squad set it up - no frustrations there. What a relief

Excited to finally get one of the great Logitech remotes. It was an easy setup through the computer and website, everything worked great after programming. The back-light coming on when you pick up the remote is fantastic! But, the problems started occurring almost immediately... If the remote is dropped onto the couch while in viewing mode (or lets say, "watch TV" mode), it reverts back to non-viewing mode or start mode. You then have to point the remote away from everything and hit "Watch TV" again. This becomes constant and is annoying. Every time after you enter one of the modes (watch TV, watch a movie, listen to music etc), the help screen always pops up even if you turn it off. If one of your devices does not turn on, or off, you have to go through a couple of steps just to do the function. Not horrible, but annoying and cumbersome to a new user. Lastly, the "clicking". The clicking every time you press the scroll up, volume, or channel buttons is kind of ridiculous. Not a smooth feel. I got this remote to make it easy for my wife and guests to use, but has now become a full on lesson to teach them. I know some of these things are being picky, but when I spend $80 for a highly reviewed remote, I expect better than a $20 remote and so far, it is far from it. I should not have to treat a remote like a glass vase as that is not a real world situation. Please take caution when buying this remote as it will become more of a burden for what should be a simple, easy to use device. It is not worth the "easy setup" to have these constant problems.

This is my second Logitech remote. First lasted 6 years and spilled drinks. Still learning how to get all the best ways to program, but liking it more each day.

It took a few minutes to figure out how to get things started but after that it was pretty easy. I almost still cant believe that the "Watch TV" button turns on my TV to the input I want, the DirecTV box, and my Bose Lifestyle to the TV setting.

My girlfiend and I are very happy with this remote. Now we don't need four remote controls just to watch a movie. Eliminate remote clutter and purchase a Logitec Harmony Remote!

As other reviewers wrote, the harmony 650 remote, more times than not, does not remember the programed settings and I have to spend awhile (10 times as long as it would take me to get up and turn my TV on myself) to troubleshoot with the help button. This is not what I expected from a "high end" remote. FYI, I tried the logitech harmony 900 as well and it had the same issue. Sadly, I am not aware of a better universal remote on the market. So, I'd suggest a nice remote caddy to house your various remotes instead.

I will not go over technical features of this remote. Other reviewers did a wonderful job covering this. The remote is great device for a very fair price. My beef is with its durability and quality of customer support. This is my second H650. The first one was dropped on a carpet on second month. The LCD screen showed some yellow stains. The casing showed no scratches or cracks. I reiterate , it fell from my hands down on very thick carpet. I contacted Logitech customer support. Their reply was "you broke it, we are not responsible". I explained that there are certain expectations from durability standpoint. I can understand if it was thrown across the room or stepped on, but falling from 2 feet height shouldn't make it inoperable. The answered was still no. I went out and bought another one. After just one month battery started to rattle inside every time I picked it up. Then remote went dead. I contacted support for this second unit. Same response - they couldn't care less! I had to take it apart and bend battery connectors a bit so batteries are held tightly. That worked. So, overall - its a good "disposable" remote. You will have to buy a new unit monthly. Logitech support was no help at all.

Internet access for programing with latest devices made this an easy project. Once installed it takes about a day to learn the layout . It is lightweight and well balanced.

This is the second harmony remote I've bought and I like it just as much as the first. I highly recommend this remote if you are looking for one remote to replace up to 5.

This is my second one! Purchased a new one just because my old one isx showing some wear to the silver on teh back. Only issue is my 78 year old Mother has a hard time turning TV not use to hold the remote directly at the TV.
