This is my second remote for my house so I know it well. It serves its purpose. Beware Logitech sucks at capacity planning. Read the forums. Every major sale of an item is seems they can't handle the load on their servers. Also they seem to be in-between a web based app vs a local client. both are quirky.

Pretty painless online set up process. Worked just like it should 1st shot! Its looks and feels good quality.

I purchased the Logitech Harmony 650 remote at Best Buy. After getting it home and installing all the necessary software I got the initial setup completed including setting up my account at www.myharmony.com. What I discovered after initial setup is that if you don't get "everything" set up correctly the first time you are just out of luck. In order to make any changes to your remote, the only way to do it is thru your myharmony.com account that syncs with the remote. I have tried over and over again to sign into myharmony account and all I ever get is that I have a "communications error" and to attempt to log in again. After reading the forums at Logitech and myharmony.com, this is a repeating problem that an over abundance of people are having with this product and the majority are complaining about no response whatsoever from Logitech. As for myself, I was careful in my initial setup and did get my DVD, Receiver and Directv operating properly, I later wanted to set up other functions with the remote but cannot due to the myharmony.com sign in problem. I have submitted a "support problem" and as many other have discovered, there is no response from Logitech. If you don't get your electronics set up perfectly with first use, the Harmony 650 remote will be nothing more than an expensive paper weight.

I love these remotes! So easy to use. The only problem I had, was the TV I was using wasn't listed, and so I had to make it learn a bunch of codes.

I highly recommend this product. I was worried about the set up, but if I can do it, anyone can do it.

Can't get any better, first and last choice. Anyone with more then 1 remote this is a must have for you.

I own an older Harmony 550 and it is a better quality remote which controls more devices. This remote only controls 5. My 550 currently has 8 devices programmed. The build is cheaper too and is a thicker remote. I like the flat design of the 550 better. I bought this for 39.00 at Best Buy and with the model number 650, I was expecting more. Actually I got less.

Easy setup and so much better than having a hundred different remotes to control all my electronics...love this remote!!

This remote once set-up works great, however the setup time for the non-techie people may be very long and complex. I had bought this as a gift for my dad and he was really frustrated during setup. It took my mom and I walking him through it to get it working. Many phone calls to me later since I live 1.5 hours away and it is now setup and working great.

Remote was very easy to set up..... Only problem is once it is set up, it does not work.... My tv is set up to have 2 separate inputs for xbox and cable box..... and sound bar has 2 separate inputs for each device also.... when pressing button to control what i wanted it to do, it would not switch the tv correctly...... if it did, the sound bar would not change inputs.... tried help on the remote.... works for one time to get to work..... then when switching to other activity, same thing would happen...... remote is definitely not worth the $75 plus tax..... back to 2 remotes as i know they work.....

Looking to consolidate all the remotes. This one is a good deal for the price. Simple to use. Not bad to program

Sometimes the buttons to the left of the screen get stuck under the plastic faceplate. Sometimes it doesnt turn off all of my equipment....but I get a screen that says "TV does not appear to have turned off. Toggle power off again?" (or similar message) Would I buy another one? I will let you know. I am going to see if I can get this one replaced.

I reviewed many all-in-one remotes and for my money? This was the best. Easy to set up and works like a charm. No more juggling remotes!

Works OK. Dosen't always activate the items correctly but help function will make things work.

It's easy to set up. I've dropped it on the floor a few times and I don't have to make sure it's still on the task. Great remote!

TV watching is now a pleasure,I can now controll all my devices with this one remote.

For the first time I have a remote the does what I need it to do without messing much with it. I liked it so much I got two more!

This product is well made and very easy to operate.

I seemed to work when I first set it up but after powering off a few times It would get all confused and I would spend 5 minutes going through the help options. My equipment is older so I am not totally blaming the remote as I use a newer model on my other new equipment and it works great.
