I got this for my father who had multiple remotes for his home theater system. Couldn't be happier with how easy it is to use.

Controls all of my devices. Easy setup. This is my 2nd Harmony remote.. I'm still using my 1st Harmony that I've had for 8 years.

This is the first universal remote that I have owned that was not a major pain to set up and it is also the first to work as a universal remote should work. I am running a samsung smart tv, directtv, DVD player, sound bar, receiver and a CD player with it. Generally you push one button to watch tv or watch a DVD and the remote turns on all the appropriate machines to the appropriate settings. It took maybe ten minutes to program all those into it. You use a web site to program it which makes it very easy to program it and to correct mistakes. Make sure you aim the remote at whatever you are controlling until it gets to the setting you want because it works in steps. But if it doesn't do what you want the remote automatically asks you if the settings are how you want them. If not it steps through the process to make it right. I dropped it onto carpet from about 3 feet and I had to reset it. It is done easily but it still feels like dropping could mess up my precious (to continue with Lord of the Rings analogy). I have used it for forty five days now and I highly recommend it. It is easy to set up, it works and if it doesn't get to right place the help makes it right. Spend the extra money, it's worth it.

This remote is a great product for controlling all TV/video/audio devices. It was very east to set up and use. Markings and functions on the remote are clear, logical, and easy to understand. It is durable, light and works form anywhere in the room. It doesn't need recharged often, but requires several hours (usually overnight) for a full charge.

I wasn't sure what I wanted going into replacing my factory remote. I looked through the options available and settled on something modest, but that could still provide increased functionality to my home theater setup. I am very pleased with the ease in programming and the customarization available with this remote.

Easy to understand and works great the first time! Needs an app to be downloaded to set it up, but easy to follow instructions.

I like this particular remote because my son has one that I found was very useful. It eliminates the clutter of using several remotes just for turning on the cable box and TV. I am surprised that the cable companies do not understand that or maybe they do but want consumers buying separate remotes for everything. Anyway, this remote is a one-stop remote which does everything at the click of "watch TV."

I've tried similar devices but this one is really easy to set up and use. We even gave one away as a gift at a company party.

This is a good remote for the price. It does not control some of the of the more advanced things like lights or blinds but it works well with the few different TV's I tried it on, the XBOX 360, XBOX 1, cable box, HDMI switch, etc. I bought a second as a gift for my senior citizen parents who had no trouble setting it up on their own too.

I like that this remote is re chargeable. It is very easy to use with a smart TV.

I bought this remote for my parents. My father was able to set it up fairly easily, but I did help him with a few things after I visited a couple weeks later. - There was a problem switching back from watching DVD to TV. The remote would leave the TV on the wrong input. After reading other reviews, I realized that I could adjust the input lags so that the TV had enough time to respond to each input from the remote. Not sure if my father would have ever figured that out, since I would have never realized it without reading reviews. -I also showed him how he can find most of the commands for the various devices in the LCD screen, which allows you to not have to go back to your old remotes each time you want to do something specific like going into menus. You can also program a list of commands that appear on the LCD if they weren't mapped to one of the buttons. Overall, I think they really like the remote. It has replaced all of their old remotes and it allows anyone to use all the entertainment devices without having to worry about input settings and such. Just one press of a button and you can go from watching TV to watching a DVD/Bluray. I liked it so much I might buy one for myself eventually.
