My Onkyo receiver's remote was starting to feel it's age. The volume button very rarely worked. This remote was simple to set up. Within 10 minutes I had programmed it for my receiver, tv, cable box and also set up macros. Can't beat it for the price.

This is my second Harmony 650. They're priced so cheaply now there's really no better option anywhere close to this pricepoint. Actually, most of the more expensive options have worse reviews. This one is pretty tried and true. In general, it overwhelmingly makes using multiple devices easy. It does occasionally not turn on (or off) one of the devices it should when performing an activity, and you then have to go into that specific device on the remote to re-power-on (or off) that specific device. But overall it gets the job done quite well. I wish Logitech would create this exact remote w/ voice control. The other models in this regard have been epic fails. Happy TV!

Very happy with this purchase. First remote was bought many many years ago and died after years of abuse. Decided to give this one a shot since most of the reviews were favorable. Ridiculous how easy it is to set up. Found all equipment I wanted and loaded appropriate codes. Set up a few activities and it almost worked perfectly on first go. Not everything is perfect. Tweaked a couple things and been happy ever since. Use it for various kinds of streaming: video and music. Haven't used it for broadcast TV at all. Maybe later. Has a decent feel to it but does feel a bit cheap BUT can't fault that due to price. Knew what I was getting and happy with what I got for the price I paid. Buttons a very responsive and screen is easily read. Added bonus is the back-lit buttons. Would purchase again. Can't see any reason for going with the more expensive models.

It took a few moments to set up entertainment system but now one remote does it all. The illuminated keys with movement of the remote is great for dark rooms and clearly identifying actions on the remote.

With instruction from the installer, I am able to access all my devices off this remote.

First, DO NOT USE USB 3.0 PORT WITH THIS REMOTE. I was having issues and Googling didn't help. It wasn't until I switched from a USB 3.0 port to a USB 2.0 port on my laptop that the issues went away. The issue was that it wouldn't complete the sync or couldn't talk to the remote at times. Other than that, setting up is pretty straight forward and simple. The reason I only gave it an average for ease of set up is because of that USB issue that Logitech didn't even know until I reported it and how I got around it. I miss the 300 series they used to have for like $35. For $75 I would have expected more than I got, don't need silly icons for favorite channels. Plus, as slow as the favorite channel function is, I could use guide or just remember my favorite channels.

This universal remote is pretty sweet. Its easy to use and easy to set up on the website. The only downside I can see is that it can only control 5 devices and that its not rechargeable. I can look past those downsides though because I picked this up for the sweet price of $40.
