We really like using one remote, instead of the three we were using. It is easy to use. It lights up when touched, which is very convenient

Logitech seems to have this down to a science. The only glitch I have seen has been with the TV, but I figured out it was the TV, not the remote that created the issue. But I love having one remote to control my receiver, cable box, BluRay player, and the TV. The "universal" remotes that are "programmable" don't work as well or with ALL the other electronics.

I held off buying a Logitech Harmony remote for quite a while. I had purchased other high-end universal remotes and it never went well over the long term. I also had doubts about an event-based remote. Well, I pulled the trigger and got this. Setup was extremely easy and it is easy to use. I like that I can control devices individually, as well as do group actions. It could not be easier to setup. The only thing I have to remind myself is to keep the remote pointed at the devices for a few seconds as it goes through changes to each device in turn. It would be nice, though, if there was an online map of buttons for each device. Some of my device remotes have some functions that I have yet to find an equivalent button for on this remote (or option in the window).

Easily starts up complex tv, surround sound, cable and dvd setup.

This remote is excellent. This is my third Harmony remote and a replacement for the previous model (note - the remote is not waterproof :)). With this remote, simply install some free software on your computer, tell it what devices you own either by search or model number, and program the activities like Watch TV and what devices you want to control what. If you don't have a separate computer, you can use the existing remote to have it learn. The downside is if your home theatre has more than 5 devices, you will need a different remote or still need to carry an additional one. The UI is easy to understand and use and the remote is durable as it has fallen many times. The remote also is easy for kids to use as it has simple buttons like "Watch TV" or "Watch Movie" and the remote does the rest. This remote is recommended.

Got this remote during the Black Friday deals couldn't pass it up. So I got in 2 days, very easy to setup when you read the directions and once you programmed it. It is worth every penny to eliminate 4 or so remotes great idea and product .

My husband loves the remote. He has it set to control 5 devices. When I use it I have a hard time remembering which button to push and usually have to go to the old remote to get things to work but remotes aren't my thing.

Have 3 of these for dir rent rooms in the house. Easy to program.

I bought this remote primarily for my wife. The one touch programmable buttons to turn on and off all your devices is perfect for me. Now I don't have to come to her rescue when she wants to watch a movie. Plus its nice to only need one remote. No more looking for the lost one.

I purchased this remote as a replacement for my DirecTV remote which I've replaced a couple of times. The problem with the DirecTV unit was that each replacement seemed to have different soft/firmware in it and caused a lot of frustration and none of them could function as a single control for the several units in my system: Bose audio, bluray, DVD/VHS etc. The Logitech solves all of that. I now use it alone. It's easy to set up but you do need to have a computer, preferably a laptop, handy and in front of your system when you program it. The Logitech software takes care of the process. You only need to fill in blanks on the screen with a single click. My only regret is that I didn't do this from the start. Go with it! You won't be sorry.
