Very pleased with the Logitech Harmony 650 8-Device Universal Remote - Silver. We updated our TV system and this universal remote eliminated individual remotes for our TV, SMART TV, DVD player, Cable, DVR, soundbar, etc. It is very easy to use but does take a few seconds to "shift" from one system to another. Overall though very happy with the purchase.

This is my second Logitech remote. The programming was easy since everything from the previous remote transferred quickly from my account. I did have an issue with some buttons responding erratically (e.g. the UP button responding on occasion as if I pressed the DOWN button. I called support and they walked me through a download that solved the issue.

All my devices were listed and easy to input codes. I love it

I bought this to replace my Harmony 670 that had its USB port break off into the remote. I contemplated taking it apart and trying to reattach the port but I decided to go with a new one. The best part about this remote is the motion sensor that turns on the backlighting when you pick up the remote. Otherwise it functions as my old remote and uses a web based setup that to me is a step down from the Harmony Logitech Remote Software. Does its job well most of the time but can be finicky with IR signals for certain hardware like the Apple TV. I prefer Pro Control or URC but I do not want to spend that kind of money for my bedroom remote. One of the last downsides is the limited number of devices that can be controlled, not up to par for larger Media Room type control....

Love it and im planning to purchase another one for my bedroom

We've owned an earlier version of the Harmony -- it needed upgrading, so we got the Harmony 650. The unit operates a bit differently, but the layout of controls is better! You can also program "favorites" of various kinds. Of course, there's always "Help" at hand ... and each Help situation is easily resolved. Worth it! Eliminates all the other remotes!

This remote is amazingly easy to program!! So many devices are preloaded!!! I entered all of our devices & set up activities easily! Now we have 1-touch activation for movies, music, Smart TV, Cable TV & all off!

Love the ability to really use only one remote/ does everything

The only reason I bought another is the amount of punishement it took from me dropping it. It finally said "I've had enough". Only one thing I wish is that it had some rubber grip to it. It fits the end perfectly but slides out of mine. I put some velcro (the stiff part) on it and I've yet to drop it. Fingers crossed. Harmony makes the best remotes.

Like most I have 4 different remotes for my entertainment system components. I was looking for something that wasn't going to break the bank but stil have the functionality I was looking for. The reviews looked positive so I gave it a shot. Some people talk about setup being a pain, just have your model numbers ready and just not your typical make to make it easier. The functionality of the remote worked great for the first 1-2 months with everything turning on/ off in the proper sequence. Now about 75% of the time my receiver won't turn on to the proper setting to watch tv. So I have that remote on standby to correct that issue. Over the last few weeks the remote is having issues powering things down and will not do anything. A message will appear on the remote that keeps it from doing anything. I haven't rest the remote to see if it corrects it yet. The display and function selection is nice and simple to us. Others have issues with DVR settings and having Dish I have yet to have any issues with that or watching Netflix. The initial thought for this remote was finally I can hit one button and watch tv. Current thought is I wonder if this time everything will work as it should with one remote on start up. This could of been 5/5 but the hit or miss on start up with dual remotes is keeping it from achieving that. Most don't have that issue so hopefully a remote rest will resolve that issue.

Hard to judge durability in just a couple of months. Bought this to replace an older logitech I had for several years. It was easy to set up and was compatible with all my devices.

This remote connects many devices so that you can control them from just one piece of equipment. No more lost sound bar remotes among one that I use. This is a solid piece of equipment and deserves your purchase.

Super easy to use! Even my husband and I can use it with ease!

This is a good remote at this price point. If you program the additional buttons it, works better. Don't be afraid to customize it and add the buttons you need.
