I bought this remote and it worked great! Easy to program once you have the model numbers of each of your devices. I like the Harmony remotes so much I returned this one after a week and upgraded to the Harmony Ultimate One remote with touch screen. The Harmony 650 is an awesome remote for the price that allows you to easily control all of your devices. The only issue is the RF lag time between turning on the devices. What I mean is you need to keep the remote pointed at the devices for 3-4 seconds so the RF frequency can turn all the devices on or off. Other than that, it is a great remote. I plan on buying the Harmony Hub for my Harmony One remote that should eliminate the RF lag time on my Harmony One remote.

This remote takes the place of all your remote problems, I have an old VCR/DVD player, and the remote even works with this older unit. You can also program this remote by setting your old remote behind it and pushing the buttons you need to program into it. This is one fantastic remote and I am glad the sales person at Best Buy suggested it to me.

This remote is easy to program and is extremely versatile.

I have used harmony remotes for the past 9 years. After you understand the user platform. They become interchangeable. Solid piece of equipment. The only problem I have is that the low end models used to control 16 devices. Now it's down to siix unless you spend 300 bucks.

I have had about 10 different harmony remotes throughout the years and this one might be my favorite. The only thing that it is missing is hub access and recharging stand. I use 2 rechargeable AA batteries so that solved my recharging issues and I use this in my bedroom where I don't have any devices hidden. This does not have a touchscreen, instead it has an lcd screen with 4 buttons. You can change the pages of the LCD screen and with that the buttons change. I think this is better than touch screen of the newer remotes and the old harmony one because it makes it easier to do things without having to look at the remote. If you just want a basic universal that can set all of your inputs for you, this is the perfect remote.

I purchased this as a replacement for an old Harmony remote that was beginning to get flaky. This is my 3rd Harmony remote and they have all been great. My first was purchased many years ago and was finally starting to fail. My second was a very simple remote for an elderly lady that just wanted the basics for watching TV. The 650 was easy to setup and works well. After the initial setup I went through several rounds of testing and tweaking until I had everything working just the way I wanted. Now everything works well. If there is a problem it is easy to get it resolved either through the help function or manually navigating to the specific device's section, fix the problem, and then navigating back to the activity I was using.

I have used my Harmony One for several years and it works well. I bought the 650 for use in the MBR and proceeded to set it up as with the Harmony One. I didn't realize that in doing so I deleted the setup for the Harmony One. You need to create a new account for each remote or you will wipe out the previous one. Now I have to recreate the setup for the Harmony One under a new account. With all the devices I'm using that will be a pain.

Very satisfied with the setup and functionality of this device. Easy to reset after the children mess with the remote. Not as easy to get to Netflix etc... as the previous version but has a quicker setup.

I set this product up for my parents. It helps to be technilogically inclined. However, once it's tweaked to perfection, you'll never be able to go back to your old remote. We all absolutly love it. You push one button and everything that needs to come on comes on. There's even a Help button in case something didn't come on or if everything didn't turn off after powering down. They have every single device you can think of available, even our space heater so you can have it turn on right along with everything else. Have a ceiling fan with a remote? You can control that too. I absolutly love this product and cannot imagine life without it.
