Overall a good universal remote to minimize the number of remotes cluttering your living room. No more searching through the pile to find the one you need. Setup takes some time, especially if you need to add delays to your devices when switching from one viewing option to another (watching TV is on HDMI 1, listening to music is on component 1). Trial and error in needed to ensure the remote is sending the commands properly. Some manufacturers need some time between cycling through the inputs. Once setup, remote works as advertised. Important to change the batteries once they get low to avoid having to run through the setup again.

If you have more than one device setup on your tv you must have one of these. So easy to setup and customize your tv configurations. No other universal remote will compare.

Good consolidation tool. Not as responsive as the original cable remote as far as catching the end of a commercial...a bit slower. On the other hand, when fast- forwarding, it is too touchy and often brings up an unwanted channel. Still better than 4 or 5 tools, though.

Could not sync 2 new Samsung products so this was suggested. A bit difficult for my 90 year old father to master, but he figured it out and is happy as a clam now. One button to watch TV and 1 button to watch a movie. Was just a matter of remembering what buttons did what.

Fantastic customization possibilities without breaking the bank. I have a couple of these around the house. Replaces every IR remote for your home theater. I only wish it had a battery capacity indicator.

I have several Harmony remotes, with screens and without. I prefer the screen so I can easily know what I'm doing without having to remember what button was programmed to do what. Since I have had some trouble charging my Harmony 700's I hope having the replaceable batteries will be more convenient. My only gripe is there is a roughness at the seam between the silver front and black back. Since I have other Harmony remotes, I did not find it difficult to program; I was able to copy another remote and then adjust for some different devices.

Finally...a remote that actually replaces all the others that I use! I love my Harmony remote. With the push of one button, I can watch TV, a movie, or switch over to my Apple TV with no trouble at all. Well worth the investment!

I recently purchased this unit for my elderly mother and, to the extent that she's been able to understand its use, it's just perfect. I've owned the Harmony One (now discontinued) for a couple of years and prefer its touchscreen and rechargeable battery for my own use.

Universal remote takes the place of 4 separate remotes.
