Bought this remote as I was tired of having 5 remotes to control all the components of my TV even though 4 of them are Samsung brand components. One remote wouldn't do everything. This remote works great and met all my needs. Very easy to program when looking the information up online. Easy to set up special functions that silence my sound bar, turn on my surround sound, and switch everything to my Blu-Ray player. Only complaint is it's limited to five devices. Would love to have a few more which seems like a software only problem. Then I could control a few more devices in my house including my X-Box and Computer. Also the buttons are not very bright in a dark setting. The screen is bright however the buttons themselves are dim and there's no setting that I could locate to change that.

Easy to setup and use. This is my 3rd Harmony remote

The remote was so easy to set up - in fact, it took longer to locate the model information for my devices than it took to set up the remote itself. Once I had setup my Harmony account, registered my remote and programmed the various buttons to do what I needed them to do, usage was easy. And when I had issues, there was on-screen help to help me fix the issue. The on-screen help is not very detailed, but it asks you simple yes/no questions that help in dealing with whatever issue you may have, and the issue is usually fixed within a few clicks. I'm wondering how I ever survived with 4 separate remotes before. The fact that I got this brand new at half price makes this even more worth it for me. If you're thinking about getting this remote, do it: you won't regret it! :-)

Bought this to replace a harmony 550 that we've had for the past 5 yrs. Really liked it but ran into issues where it the rubberized backing was difficult to clean and became sticky. This was a welcome replacement and is even easier to use. Buttons are simpler and more intuitive. Got a fair deal at best buy. Would definitely recommend.b

I did get the 1st one a few years ago, stopped working( maybe 4 years old...) then the one I bought a week or so ago didn't work off the bat. Lights up but some buttons didn't work, but they were great to exchange with the same since it was 2 days from purchase

Easy programming via USB and a big catalog of devices.

I had 3 remotes going before I purchased this wonderful thing! EASY to use, and install. All you do is go online, look up the code to your devices and BAM! It works really great, highly recommend!

This is a great starter remote. I have a Cable box, DVD player, tv and surround sound. It's able to control everything with the touch of a button. Simplicity at its best. If I want to watch TV, I press tv and it automatically links my tv to th correct input for the cable to work on and the surround sound. Controls the volum in the surround sound and changes the channel of the cable box. If I want to watch a DVD, I programmed it to work the same way, I just hit the watch a movie button and it does everything for me. It's the only remote I need.
