I have a few Harmony remotes, and for the money they work well. Web site is easy to deal with, and get remote programmed. I have once called into their customer support and it was excellent in trying to help out

Harmony remotes are the best universal remotes. They will operate all of your audio/video equipment and they are easy to program.

I've been using a Logitech harmony remote for over 5 years. Sadly my old harmony would not fully recognize the new xbox one, so I upgraded when I purchased the xbox. The feel of the remote is great, with it weighted toward the bottom of the remote where you would naturally hold it. Setup was easy. It simply pulled up my account, and simply transferred my actions to the new remote. I did run into a minor issue, but it was by no means a deal breaker. It did not remember some of the commands from my previous harmony. The fix was easy, went into the remote program and reassigned the buttons. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase!

Easy to use and set up. I programed it for 4 different devises and 5 different activities and was able to eliminate 4 different remote controls. When I had a minor problem I could not fix, one phone call to Logitech and the problem was solved. Definitely worth every penny.

My home theater system isn't that complicated but this is the first remote that actually works for all of it. Just used my small laptop to go to the website, put in the model's and they all worked. Samsung TV, Denon receiver, Dish Hopper, Panasonic bluray, JVC CD carousel. After getting all model numbers it took about 20 minutes to setup the activities. Now that it is programmed I put away 3 remotes that I used to need and my wife was able to use it by just looking at the screen. Super glad I got the 650 and didn't need to control more since this will work for up to 8 units.

Purchased this remote to replace my dying 880, Although less flashy, it is actually more pleasant to use. The shaped, rubber buttons make it easy to control my devices without having to look at the remote.

This remote will work up to 8 devices and several activities. Great for one touch viewing of Blu Ray or Xbox. If you have multiple IR devices, this is the remote for you.

I have been using Logitech remotes for quite a few years and they always function flawlessly. Easy to setup and operate. I even got one for my 90 year old mom.

After eleven years I decided to upgrade my home entertainment system. Only after everything was in place did I realize that no one of the provided remotes would operate all of the components. After much online research I decided on the Logitech 650 remote as it had very good reviews. And now I’ll add mine to the mix. It’s a GREAT remote in my opinion. I’m only ok with electronics but this thing is super easy to set up and use. If you need a universal remote I don’t know how you could do any better than this one.

All the weight is located at the back of the remote. It takes 2 hands to work it. Grab it at the back with one hand, use the other hand to push a button at the front end, turning on or off the TV and accessories. I am trying to replace a Harmony 610 - the buttons are getting less responsive and labels are wearing on them. Time will tell about the 650. Good remote (maybe not best), affordable, easy to program.

I had originally purchased another universal remote from Logitech but returned it because the value did not match the price. However, when Best Buy put this on sale, I decided to try it again. I'm glad I did as the device, which generally works well, allowed me to put several remote controls in a drawer and forget about them. Programming is fairly easy using the Logitech software and I have not had a glitch in the four weeks I've used this remote control.

This remote work as expected. Easy setup. The activity setup botton is very helpfull and with just a click you can turn on all the equipment without going to other remotes. I enjoy using this remote and specialy the help tool that helps you to set up things when needed.

Over the last dozen years or so, the above mentioned remote - Harmony 650 8-Device Universal Remote is my 3rd straight Logitech Harmony remote. I am a senior citizen and at this point I can only afford $60 - 80 for a remote. I loved my last 2 Logitech remotes so I found this remote and bought it. Logitech, in my opinion is the top remote manufacturer and their prices are always fair. I would highly recommend the Logitech line of remotes for your needs.

This is the 5th Logitech Harmony remote I have owed, it is used in our guest room/movie room for the kids. It is used to control a Pioneer receiver, Pioneer Elite Blu Ray player, Apple TV and a Samsung LED Smart TV. The remote looks and feels like the remote that is used to control your DirecTV/Dish/Cable TV box so it was an easy adjustment the the kids and our guests have had no problems with it. The only issue is the Logitech set-up page takes some getting use to. This is a great remote for the price.

Set up is fairly easy if you have the information about your components written down and in front of you. The station up/down feature for FM radio did not work but when I called the help number, the tech I spoke to had it fixed in a matter of a few minutes. I use it with a minimal home theater system of receiver, TV, and DVR. I like the USB connection that allows me to use my I-phone for music of my choice.. The buttons are not lighted sufficiently in the dark. Otherwise, this was an excellent buy.

I set up my bose amp and TV on one Activity button. But sometimes my table blocked the signal to the bose amp. So only the TV is on when I press the "watch TV" button. And then I have to select the bose amp from the device menu to toggle the power. When I shut off them both, the same case happened. I turned the TV off but the amp, even I pressed "all off", the amp is still on. Why does not the remote just send again the OFF signal to both devices. So I recommend to use this remote on devices which are not blocked by anything. Give a clear path for the signal to reach the devices.

I am a big fan of these remotes. I have one for each room. Needed to replace after my kids dropped the old one too many times. The construction is the same as the previous models but the setup software is easier.

i have used other remotes, this was low cost and all functions work great in a complex equipment set up

Purchased to consolidate remotes for DirecTv, Receiver, BluRay player, TV, and combo player. Setup was rather painless and what I found to be incredibly genius was when using for the first time, if the device didn't function exactly as needed (failed to turn a device on or off) the remote would ask you if everything worked. If you tell it no, it performs another function within itself and issue is solved immediately. I have procrastinated purchasing a Harmony remote, now I wish I'd have bought more. The only drawback is that I have more than 5 devices to operate, but the others aren't as crucial to my everyday needs.

The remote works effectively but will not work without doors open to cabinet where controls are located. Will shut off but not on, and will not change channels through the door. a minor inconvenience.
