This remote can operate just about any common combination of components in your home stereo/theater. From vintage to recent, just log onto their website, answer a few easy questions, then connect the remote to your computer using the supplied cable. Voila! A universal remote that does it all. The price is reasonable as well. I liked it so much, when I needed another remote, I didn't hesitate to purchase another one. Go ahead, mix and match your brands of components. This remote can handle several devices. It takes some work to program it, but is quite functional once programmed.

Good value and functional. This is a relatively inexpensive way to consolidate all the controllers.

This remote is awesome! You're able to switch inputs on multiple devices easily, which means no need for multiple remotes. The interface is easy to use. My only issue is that it seems to make you go through the tutorial I think whenever you change batteries, but no big deal. Perfect for set ups with TV, sound system, and multiple media devices/game consoles.

This is our 2nd Logitech Harmony at home, we love them. Very easy to setup, easy to control mutliple devices. This is the cheapest one that controls many items.

This is my second Logitech - Harmony 650 8-Device Universal Remote. My first one finally wore out after four years or so. Syncs up and works well with no issues on four of my devices.

As universal controllers go, this one works great if you use it for one function. However, the controller allows you to use it for multiple functions and that is where it fails. I have it programmed (which is really easy to do) to operate as a normal tv controller (tv, sound, cable box), as a movie controller (tv, sound, dvd player), and as a stereo controller (sound). As a straight tv controller, it is awesome- I no longer need 3 different remote controls to operate my entertainment system/setup. When I switch over to movie control though, that is when problems occur. The remote acts as the dvd player controller, but it doesn't control the tv or the sound the way it should. I then have to scroll through the remote control's menus to make the various adjustments and it becomes a mess; it's actually easier to just pull out my old remote controls and use them to watch a movie then to spend time going through multiple menus to make adjustments. I haven't tried the stereo option yet for fears that it would also be a mess. Since I watch more tv then I do movies, I can live with the quirks since my life (i.e., no more complaints from the wife) is easier with one remote vice three remotes. I just wish that this remote control operated with the same efficiency in the other functions that it does with the watch tv function. If it did, I would give this product 5 stars.

This over all is a great remote, its incredible to have everything in my entire house on one remote. The only issue I have with it is that my bluray player automatically turns off if it sits too long so if we pause a movie to do something and come back and the blu ray is off, then the remote gets out of sinc and I have to go through all the help menus to reset it. Other than that, its great, the online set up was pretty straight forward and easy to do.

Sooo much better than the one that comes from your cable provider. Lights up when you use it. Works for my TV, DVR, and Blue Ray player.

This is our second Harmony Remote. Our previous one lasted us 8 years until finally the screen started having issues, but the remote itself still works fine. This one is even easier to use and I can only hope we get another 8 years on this one!

I've been a user of Harmony remotes for approx. 6 yrs. - my prior one finally failed (after many drops) and I scoured the web in search of a replacement,. Hands down, Best Buy, offered (true to its name) the best buy on this model. The closest "other e-tailer" was $30 more. Delivery was very prompt and it arrived as advertised (brand new) and packaged nicely. For a small to moderate sized home theater set-up, this thing absolutely gets the job done. Programming it was a snap - the buttons seem responsive and seem to have more integrity than my prior Harmony. A great buy!

Love these remotes!! In fact we now have two of them, however setting up the 2nd isn't as easy as the 1st, your account wants to have only one remote. Once you figure out the online set up, once its done. The remote is amazing its so simple to use and when it gets something wrong it helps you figure it out with simple yes or no questions. Have patience setting it up, have patience figuring it out, because its all worth it. I also like the fact that this model has normal batteries - I haven't had it long enough to see how quickly it burns through them but I like that option.

We used this remote for our 2009 LG smart TV. The remote work fine but the programming could work better for our specific TV. Only issues is if you drop it you might have to reprogram it. Nice thing about reprogramming it is that the programming is done on your PC and the program file is saved on your PC so you don’t have to look for it. With that said still not bad for what it does and not that bad of a price.

I must say that Logitech should explain the help feature more in detail because it throws the average person off and it can be frustrating if your not tech savvy. Understanding the remote resolves all issues I read about on the bad reviews.

For the price paid this is a great remote. There is a slight learning curve and the display screen could be larger. This remote gives you a lot of control over your different systems.

I am not tech savvy but I bought on recommendation of friend who is! Hooking up 65 inch TV, cable box, DVD player and the Wii was very simple. Written manual is minimal but they have a good web site which I used once. One controller is great.

I keep buying these because my computer is set up to just program new ones. Easy to use and set up. Sometimes it turns on the wrong settings in the activities and you have to press help. Oils from your hands will take the finish off and I need a new one every couple years. I have kids using it so that might be part of it. If you have a lot of components it is great to use. Press watch tv and all receiver, tv, and dish come on and are ready to go.
