This remote is the solution to all of my needs. It works perfect and is easy to use. Set up is also a breeze.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas, he loves it. Couldn't afford the one that would control the PS3 and Xbox 360 but at least we got rid of 4 remotes!

I purchased this to solve the problem of having multiple remotes for a system with satellite, TV, Bray, A/V receiver and multi-room. None of the systems remotes would solve the complex configuration problems related - where various inputs needed to change, various devices turn on and off, etc. This problem was incredibly frustrating - making it very difficult to simply watch TV. An unexpected surprise was the help function that deals with issues that happen when one device gets out of sync. Great solution.

Bought this remote to replace the various remotes for a TV, my Cable Box, 2.1 Home Theater Speaker, an Apple TV and a Panasonic Blu Ray player. One caveat for Apple Products: Once you set this up for the apple TV, it's possible this remote may control the music player in your macbook pro. Just turn off macbook's device pairing option (forgot the actual name).

This is a very high tec remote. The cool thing is you program in on your computer! You can program up to 6 devices. However, it's also very cumbersome; you have to constantly change the 'mode' from cable to DVD or tv in order to change channels or adjust the volume. It's very frustrating.

At first my wife and I did not fully understand the Harmony remote control. Once it was explained to us then we felt much more comfortable with the device.

The setup using the USB cable and my computer was reasonably quick and easy. The remote itself works very well, but have patience when powering on devices and switching inputs... keep the remote pointed at the devices (the remote screen tells you this). No problems! Pros: Easy to setup, easy to use Cons : Takes a bit of time to change inputs on my Vizio TV after initial power on. Also wish the remote had built-in PS-3 support (additional device/cost required)

This remote does everything we need it to. Rather than using the 3 remotes that we have, this remote does it all. Navigates thru our smart tv with no problem. Records our tv shows without any hiccups.

The remote is easily programmed on my computer to operate tv, DVDs player, Sony juke box CD player and denon tuner amplifier. This will save your marriage. The wife now only has to deal with one remote!

Great remote, don't be afraid to switch from your cable remote. One thing I've noticed is if you're using HDMI ARC to control devices, the remote is limited. Turn off ARC, and let the remote do all the work.

After buying this remote for my home, I purchased another for my mom. Her Comcast remote kept losing sync with the TV, so the TV wouldn't always turn on or off when requested. It also makes it a one-step process to switch components when they want to watch a movie, rather than calling me for step-by-step instructions to change the inputs on the TV. The help function has been especially helpful. I've been told on several occasions that it's the greatest remote ever. I've been very happy with my own as well.

Easy to program, flawless execution of commands, enormous library of devices set up for you automatically

For 49.99 on sale hard to walk away as have been eyeing this for sometime. One of our original remote's buttons were becoming more and more unresponsive and this seemed a good alternative. It is. Kind of. Have had the remote for about a month and admittedly I have not spent a lot of time learning the ins and out of the device in part because I didn't think I would have to, it's advertised as an easy to use, greatest thing since sliced bread device. Functions don't go to the keys I assigned them to when doing the online set up and order of devices has changed and IDK why. Wish that with all the buttons available that you could have separate sets of discreets button for various devices. Instead you have to push a button to bring up list of devices, push another button to select that device then puch more buttons to finally get to the function you want to use. I still use the remote, it has a good feel when held and works well in left or right hand. But I tire of devices that do not work as advertised, maybe it's because I'm not so enthralled with technology as I once was and I want it to be transparent in my life, to be toaster easy to use and have it integrate into my lifestyle with having to alter my lifestyle to suit the technology. Then again I haven't had my morning Coke and brerakfast mufin sandwhich yet so perhaps my opinion will improve later in the day. Still glad I bought the Harmony, just not knock my socks off thrilled.

If your like most people, having many remotes to operate your electronic equipment, this remote is a must have. My 86 year old mother could not figure out what remote went to what. The answer the Harmony universal remote, which controls everything with one simple push of the button thanks to an onscreen window she is now able to turn on and watch DVD's, VHS tapes and control the TV with ease and no confusion. This is great because it avoids all the complication and makes life easier for her.

I have a bunch of Harmony remotes and one of them broke (900) but I decided to replace it with this more simple remote. So far it has worked very well. The IR has a great range and it is very responsive.

We have had this remote for over a year and it still works really well (and we have two small boys who are pretty hard on it at times). It warns you when it needs to be recharged but if you forget it will go dead. I would prefer a port to put it in when not in use but plugging it in is fine. The remote functions get confused sometimes and then won't turn on our TV or our Xbox but is fairly easy to fix.

The geek squad techs told us about this remote when they were solving some other issues for us. After explaining all of the features, the decision was easy. This is a great product!

Bought this remote to go with my new tv and HT setup. It's very handy to control the tv, blu ray player, and receiver. You program it on your computer to not only control devices, but to do actions as well. For example, you have "Watch a Movie" button. When you press it, it turns on the tv, receiver, blu ray, and sets the input to the player as well. If you have multiple A/V devices, a universal remote is a must. Makes life much easier.
