I love the Harmony remotes by Logitech. But some of their remotes place the Play, FF, Rewind, and Back Skip buttons in awkward places. Not so with this model, the 700. For me, these most used buttons are ergonomically placed very close to my thumb, in the bottom third of the unit. The buttons have a nice feel, giving me enough resistance and movement to know what I'm doing without having to look. Since I enjoy my home theater with my DVR and streaming set top box, having a remote that lets me pause, play rewind and fast forward without fumbling is a must. I've tried other remotes, including many others by Harmony: some have their advantages. But the placement of these crucial buttons gives the 700 the edge in my book. And since the 700 offers rechargeable batteries, I love it even more.

This is a great starter smart remote. It was easy to set up and replaced 8 of my remotes. They were everywhere! This simplified things immensely.

Bought this remote to replace a Harmony xbox 360 remote that I've had for years. Got this on black Friday for a good price. I transferred the settings from my old remote to the new one using the My Harmony desktop app. I have a fairly complex setup ( XBOX, PS3, HDMI switch, audio switch, amplifier, sat box, TV,). Took about I day to fine tune the remote. I don't know if the average person would have the patience to do the setup using the software. The software is very non-intuitive. Takes a lot of trial and error to get things set up correctly.

I own a few Harmony 700 remotes. I love them. They fit well in my hand. The buttons are easy to find in the dark, especially with the backlit display, and the Harmony software makes them easy to program. The battery life is great.

great univ. remote. if there is a problem programming, it'll automatically fix the problem for you. I haven't had a chance to mess with all the functions of remote but so far works fantastic.

We were using 4 remotes and now we're down to 1! It's super easy to use and the ability to store favorite channels is fabulous. We are now a Logitech Harmony family :)

Set this remote up with software for PC or Mac and sync the remote with the included cable. Change from watching a DVD to Apple TV is a snap! All the components are turned on or off as necessary for the current activity.

I bought this remote to eliminate the 5 other remotes that I was using on a daily basis. It's a pretty nice remote and does the job. Easy to set up, and for the price that I paid, I can't complain.

Well built Logitech remote. Very easy to program. Am using it to control my TV, Cable Box, and Blu-ray player. This can easily handle my simple set up, and lots more.

starts all my audio video equipment with one button. does almost everything the original remotes do. I even use it to control my bionaire. The recharging doesnt seem to be bad. had it a month and havnt charged it yet.

I had a previous Harmony Universal Remote and the software made it EASY to transfer devices/set-ups from prior remote to this one. Happy with this purchase and great price from Best Buy.

This is the second 700 series remote I have bought now. They are easy to configure and eliminate the need for multiple remotes. I am buying them as gifts and don't mind setting up for the people I am giving them to

Before purchasing I was scared it would be impossible for me to figure out how to program and use this remote. I couldn't have been more wrong. The MyHarmony app walks you through everything step by step. I get so many compliments when I have guests about how easy this remote is to use. I also love that you can program your favorite channels on your remote to show their logos! The battery is also very long-lasting. I only have to charge my remote about every six months.

I bought one of these for me, one for my sister, and one for my in-laws. I have had the Harmony 650 for a couple of years and choose to upgrade to this when we got a second TV. It is just as functional as any Harmony remote (meaning it's great), but the layout on the 700 is improved over the 650 - particularly the buttons for using the DV-R/DVD player. Much more intuitive. Recommended and to be frank, I can't imagine why anyone would need any Harmony remote more expensive than this.

I purchased this because me 650 stopped responding. Wasn't thrilled I had to replace a Harmony after three years but this is the lower cost when you start looking at 6+ function

i needed to control 5 components,and do 3 things 1watch tv 2play music 3watch movie This Logitech unit was super easy to setup on Windows PC, 1 button switches the components to the correct input ..DONE!

I grabbed this remote on a black Friday special(50)! I like the remote and the fact it lights up. It is not a perfect 5 because sometimes it does have issues but I like it .
