great remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Main features that make it better than others are: Computer app for programming, light up buttons, screen for commands that dont have a button, and I found a way to program other remotes under a different remotes name (I can turn down the TV volume when I am in DVD mode)

Great addition
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have four remote controls on the coffee table, and I'm always having to explain to the kids which input goes with which device. The Harmony 700 has simplified all this to one remote, and no more figuring out which input for which device. It automates all this for me!!

AWESOME MULTIFUNCTIONAL REMOTE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went from using 4 remotes to using 1 multifunctional remote... It is so user friendly even for us "older" generations. I love having the ability to use the same remote for tv, for dvd, for bose, for Netflix. ..etc.

Overall good but not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this remote as a upgrade to my 550. The 550 still offers more in my opinion as the screen is back lit and many more devices can be synced than what is available here. The remote works as advertised but it is definitely limited. The other drawback to the remote is even though you don't necessarily need direct line of sight it will not work past 50-60 degrees of obscurity. Granted it states it will not work with items behind walls or cabinets but my older 550 could atleast control items that weren't directly in front of it. I'd recommend for basic consolidation but for anything intricate or involving hidden devices I'd stay clear.

Very easy to setup.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been very happy with my Harmony 650. When I finished the basement I bought a new 55 inch tv and bought the Harmony 700. To me the only difference is one is silver and the other is black and you can control a couple more devices. Well worth the money.

Great remote to control TV, STB & Soundbar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i bought this because i was tired of using three different remotes to control my Samsung TV, Soundbar and DirecTV box.. even though the DirecTV remote will turn the TV on and off it does not control the volume of my Samsung Soundbar which got annoying. that's where this remote saved it.. was a little tricky to program since the software could be better but once i got it programmed i'm able to do everything with it... even control the FireTV Stick... the battery life is pretty good. i maybe have to charge once every 3 weeks with a lot of usage.. nice display also.

Replaces older Harmony One
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While this works fine, I find it is not as elegant a user experience as my old Harmony One which became unusable when the screen became a set of lines. Bought on sale and for the money it is very good, very easy to set up.

Great remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is much better than my old Philips remote. The cool thing I like is that it learns if it messes up and try's to correct the issue. I wish there was more customizable options when setting up the programs though and the favorite channel setup could be better.

Solid remote, some quirks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a long time user of Harmony remotes and picked this one up for a secondary TV. I like the functionality of the remote, but it has a few quirks. Sometimes when you plug into the charger it will fail to start charging. After a couple tries it always starts and charges to completion, but something is weird there. Plugging into the PC to program can be weird too, sometimes the app won't be able to communicate and I have to reboot both the remote and the computer to try agian.

Good Value Remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The remote handles the basics very well and the price is affordable when compared to other Harmony remotes. The setup software has gotten better over the years, and is much less frustrating.

Great product (somewhat expensive perhaps)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this unit on Black Friday and the price was acceptable. The functionality is great and the rechargeable battery is a plus if you use it often. Cons: Interface in the controller could be improved. Complex command sequences often fail because of pauses/wait times for the controlled equipment to respond. In any case it can replace any remote control at home (and I have a lot) so as a product is excellent

Not a strong signal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The remote works fine, setup was very easy but I've noticed the signal isn't very strong. Unless it's pointed DIRECTLY at the device the signal will not usually work.

Best out there
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In the price range, it is the best value. This was a BF deal, and that helped a bit on the price. Handles all the devices without issues. I do wish it could do more, but from what I'm reading on options, it can be extended to even turn on the lights.

Great Universal Remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like everything about this remote. Programming it was beyond easy and the activities like "watch tv" and "watch movie" are awesome. I wish it came with a charging stand but for the $50 I paid for it I can't complain. Highly recommended.

Works Nice.... overall a decent buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the kind of product it is, I would say it does its job. I have smart tv, home theatre, roku. I could control all three in one remote. The only reason I am giving it 3 starts is because, the remote is not very user intuitive. For eg; To access all menu items on my TV, I will have to play around a bit to do what I want to do. There is a "back" button on this remote, but it did not work with any of my devices, instead I had to find a alternate button on the remote which does the same job. I bought this remote on sale, hence I would recommend other buyers also to buy only during sale.

Solid remote for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 2nd harmony and I like the upgrade to rechargeable batteries. This hopefully will save $ over time. Also the programming from my old harmony to the new one only took 3-5 min so that's hard to beat.

Nice remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controls everything I needed it to. Xbox One, my sound bar, cable box and TV.. would have been nice if more keys worked without using the 'soft menu'.. but it gets the job done for most of what i need.

great remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the following A/V equipment Yamaha RX-820 Verizon Q7232 DVR Mitsubishi WD-52631 DLP TV Oppo BDP-93 blu-ray player The Logictech 650 remote was easily programmed for all of these devices using their software on my 17" macbook pro

Great Universal Remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this remote. No more scrambling to use 8 remotes with my home theater setup. With the included software it was very easy to program. Recommended for anyone with multiple devices that wants to simplify their living room.

It works almost most of the time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The remote, when aligned with all devices, is great. However, it is only aligned to all devices about half of the time. I have all new samsung devices , except for DTV genie and it turns on everything except the soundbar most of the time. You have to hit help on the remote to get everything on most of the time. The help function works, but why cant the remote just recognize whether the device is on or not??\ It also has not smart tv functionality that I know of, so if you have a new samsung tv, there is no means of controlling the pointer or smart hub feature
