i have Fire Tv Stick. My DVR remote does not control input on my TV, so I have 3 remotes to use. I know, gross. So, this was on sale for $59. Totally worth it. It's worth the full price. It won't control Fire TV because this remote is IR and Fire remote is Bluetooth. But I pared down from 3 remotes to 2. That's progress. This controls my Samsung DVR and my Dynex TV. I'm still a bit confused on how to properly use it. My GF has to help. But once you get the hang of it, you will be excited. I'm sure they will make a Harmony with Bluetooth, which I will have to get.

I had tried an earlier generation universal remote and could never get it to work right. The Logitech Harmony 700 was easy to program via my computer....about 15 minutes from the time I opened the box until it was fully functional. The "how to use" video was great, too. Best of all, we went from having 6 remotes on our coffee table to one....and it works great. Someone really thought-through this product and the programming process!

Super simple to set up. You do need to have the model and make of each piece of equipment you want to run, but the Logitech web site handles the rest. Its the first universal remote I have owned that actually works every thing. I would prefer the numerical button to be on top of the dvd controls. Accessing channels is a bit awkward. The shape of the entire controller is a little weird.

We saw one @ our daughter/son-in-law's house at Christmas and was impressed how you could control all your devices, even our Squeezebox internet radios with one remote. I am very pleased with how it works. There a slight learning curve, but it's worth it in the end. You just have to be sure to keep pointing it at the devices until they all come on, or they miss the signal. It will turn on 3 devices at a time. I'm glad I got it.

This remote is possibly the coolest device that anyone could ever own. I just recieved it as a birthday gift and it is by far the coolest thing ever. It works great, easy to set up, and it is rechargeable. The fact that this remote can do anything you want it to, makes me get all geeked out. I had four remotes and this one eliminated the clutter of remotes on my table. It is now 1:30am, and I am going to stay up and mess with it because it is just that cool. If you ever have the need to buy a universal remote, buy this one, you will not regret it!

Using 3 remotes for DirecTV, surround sound, TV and Blueray was getting to be an issue. I researched the "universal" remotes and decided on the Harmony 700. A great choice. Easy to set up! Allows me to do everything + some that I need from one remote. I liked it so much I bought another for the bedroom!

I've used the Harmony 700 for about two months. It is easy to set-up and to use. The "Help" feature is very useful in solving programming issues. Some buttons can be customized to the user's needs. The display also illuminates on user movement. The only negatives I found were battery life (the very short warning time before the batteries must be charged) and the sensitive of the number buttons used to change channels.

My wife enjoys this remote very much, she does not need to understand several remotes to watch TV programs or watch a DVD. This remote allows several device to be powered up at the same time and in the sequence needed perform the task at hand. It does away with three or more remotes. Easy to program form my iMAC with the free software. Very pleased the performance so far.

This product is great. I had a harmony 100 which got mauled by my puppies and replaced it with this model. This thing programmed itself effortlessly and was ready to roll in less that 1/2 hour and I'm horrible with technology. The unit is easy to use and does everrything I want it to do very intuitively. The unit is a bit pricier than I would like, but it really does the trick. If I had enough money and time I would program everything electric in my house. Get One and Get Rid Of the Remote Clutter and the Need for Four Hands!!!!.

Really nice remote. One button operation, once you have it set up. Having your setup loaded from the computer makes it really nice, "Just in case". Programming is actually pretty easy, once you figure out the fact that most of the programming is done for you....... don't over think the steps. The only thing I really don't like is the so called, ergonomic design. It looks like the housing was designed by an art school flunk out. The rounded bottom by the batteries makes it hard to hold and press buttons with one hand.

I bought this model because my previous Harmony had worn out. The biggest advantage is the easy set-up, even easier this time around since all of my devices were in the database. You can set up multiple devices to turn on or off as needed. The one thing that I don't like is that they got rid of the docking port to recharge the device. It was very handy having a set place that you knew the remote would be. Other than that, I love this remove.

I have had mine for about 2 months now without experiencing any issues. I have always purchased Logitech remotes, and have always found them easy to set-up and easy to use. This one is no different, and I like having a color screen and the ability to recharge the batteries with the included adapter. Great job on this one Logitech!

Love the ability to control all devices via one remote...should have done this a long time ago. I had Geek Squad set it up for me, no issues so far. Really like the "idiot" button (help) which always figures out a problem when a component does not seem to be working. The only issue is that it won't transmit through the frosted glass doors of the entertainment system...I have to open the doors. The solution is the RF version of this remove, but that costs 3x as much.

Not the fanciest harmony remote but it does everything I need and it cost significantly less than the other models. No touchscreen, that’s OK. Buttons have nice tactile feel. I’ve been using this for six years now and it still works great.

I had heard of the Harmony remote controls for years but shied away from purchasing one because I thought there was no way it would be worth the money. As time passed and more components were added to our home theater setup, I grew increasingly frustrated with the "universal" remote offered by our cable provider that really wasn't universal at all and had little to no flexibility. Now that we finally purchased a Harmony remote, I'm kicking myself not getting one many years ago. The online setup through the computer is a breeze and offers a lot of additional flexibility that I haven't even begun to fully explore. The remote truly controls our HDTV, "Smart" Blu-Ray Player, HD cable box, and sound bar with subwoofer and I don't have to worry about what order to press buttons - it really does all the work for us. I'm especially grateful for the information provided by Best Buy when purchasing the remote. If you're at all still skeptical about the capabilities of this remote, make sure to talk to a Best Buy representative about what components you have and how you use them. They'll help you find the right remote for your situation without spending more money than you need. Logitech has many impressive models, but don't convince yourself you need more than you actually do.

It was fairly easy to set up. The only issue that I'm having is with the Vizio sound bar. It always opens appropriately when returning to the same activity. When changing to different activities or starting a new activity, the input on the sound bar can only be changed with the aid of the help menu, it usually takes several attempts to change to the appropriate input. Otherwise, it is still much easier and more convenient than using multiple remotes.

Good Buttons, backlight, looks very durable, after set up and full charge the battery was empty in 6 hours. This happened a couple of times then I had to do a "not out of the box" firnware download. The charge should last about 30 days according to logitech. I do have an open ticket with them as I need 30 days to see if this is defective. Will update

Picked this up while it was on sale to replace a Harmony 880 model that stopped working. As long as you aren't intimidated by the initial setup, this is a great remote.

What a breeze to set up and even to change the setup because I purchased a new DVD player..... My only criticizm is that it does not handle the Dish DVR functions very well.... But everything else is logical and works great - Dish Satellite - TV - DVD - CD player - Tuner - and even the WII (but I have to manually turn it on since it is bluetooth)... I would buy another one in a heartbeat...

This product is the best technological investiment I have made. I cannot go into all it does, but it make all the pertinent switches (input and output) when I go fro watching TV to watching a move to listening to a music....and automatically makes the changes on the home theatre system. You can literally throw away all other remotes, and just use this one. Effortly knows if you are using HDMI1 or HDMI2, and Digital Optical lines as well. Buy it!
