The best universal remote I have had so far. Control's all devices with ease, and very easy to set up. I've used it for a month or so now, no issues at all. As long as you set everything up properly you will not have any issues (even if you make a mistake, remote works with you to correct them). Great purchase for the price!

This remote control can basically control most electronic items at home! And Best Buy has best price too!

I picked up this Universal Remote tonight and I couldn't wait to review it. I purchased this remote and a Yamaha Home Theater System to go along with my Panasonic Plasma, Samsung Blu Ray Player and XBox 360 I already own. I thought a UR would be a great idea considering everything is hooked to my receiver and I needed 4 remotes to control everything. There was an open item on this and I picked it up for cheap. I came home and set up my theater system and made sure everything was working. Then I took the remote out and checked the quick start guides. I heard that it might take hours to set everything up. I plugged it in, downloaded the software and was off and running in less than 10 minutes. It was so easy to set up, just plug in the model numbers and the software does the rest. After I was done I checked every single possible situation I would come across thinking I'd still have to keep my other remotes around, but everything worked as it should be. I was able to control every aspect of all my devices with this remote. I promise you won't be disappointed. The only thing I can say is that I wish I bought this sooner! GO BUY IT!

We LOVE this remote. We had, minimally, two remotes that we had to use daily to turn on our dish, TV, and surround sound. NOW, one button on the Logitech remote and all of these components turn on. It is a wonderful remote and has been easy to learn to navigate. I would recommend this remote control for sure!!

I have several Harmony remotes in various models and have been satisfied in general with their performance. They greatly simplify operation of a home theater setup with several components. In my opinion the Harmony remotes are a bit expensive, perhaps because competition is limited. The setup takes 20 or 30 minutes assuming you have several devices (TV, receiver, cable box, Apple TV, DVD player), but Logitech's equipment database is large and included all of my devices. I am giving lower marks for durability because the display went out on one of my remotes after about 2 years, requiring the unit to be replaced. In fairness to Logitech, the 1-year warranty had expired and they offered me 50% off on the replacement. Still, the remote received only light usage and I expected it to last longer than 2 years.

I own 4 650's and a Harmony One. My 'One' has been dying on me for about 2 years, so I had to replace it. I chose this simply because I didn't want to shell out $200+ for the similar replacements out there. I'm GLAD I stuck with this. It responds much faster than the One did and the rechargeable batteries are a plus...especially since they're both removable, and standard batteries (AA) not cell phone type batteries. A great, inexpensive choice! Works great with Xbox ONE too!

Skeptical about the product, but purchased it anyway to see if I could eliminate my 4 remote controls. Found it very easy to set-up with great software to guide you through the process. It works as promised and I love it. Wish I would have made the purchase earlier. Also, great price from Best Buy.

Very good remote to handle many components at once. Not use to having to recharge a remote, though, but that's not a real problem. I bought this to replace an older Harmony remote, and it was trivial to simply update the softwarefor the new remote - all my original settings transferred flawlessly.

Bottom line is the remote works. I have tried different remotes with different software for the programing. Harmony has good software far better than the majority I have come across. Be patient it will be worth it. Setup on any media surround type setups with multiple devices to learn will take time. After you begin the software training so to speak you begin to get a sense on how it all works together and how you want certain functions to work. The more detailed you want the remote to function your equipment you begin to see how much more functional everything begins to work easier. I found myself making minor tweaks quite often after my initial setup. And most of those just for my own personal functionality. Most of the setup I did within a day and tested it with my wife and got a Happy grin and thumbs up! I also have the Harmony 900 for another surround setup and love that remote too. Although the majority of the remote had back lighting, buttons on the top above the LCD screen did not which made no sense from an otherwise great remote.

The remote was easy to set up from the Logitech web site. The setup program ran me through the different scenarios for the different devices I have in my system. It also paired up the units that needed to be paired. I was able to get rid of 4-5 other remotes, yeah.

Surprised that this works as well as it does. Easy to program on-line and the HELP button on the remote is useful for minor programming mistakes. It takes some initial effort, but pressing a single button to have several devices turn on is very nice. I have recommended this to several people.

I've been lurking at reviews for a universal remote for months. This finally was on sale, so I jumped. Its very easy to add all of your components (via computer) and works great. I finally got rid of three remotes and now only have to use this one; which is aesthetically pleasing to boot!

I had a previous version of this remote that died after 7 years. This one set up very easily using the last one for a guide. DO NOT PAY THE $125 set up if you are replacing an old one. It is very easy to do yourself.

We've had it in use for close to 2 months now. Brease to set up and use. It removed a pile of remotes. I just wish it would do RF as well. You need to point it directly at the equipment for a few seconds to make sure every thing gets the signal.

I pulled the trigger on this when it went on sale at Best Buy. I'm not using RF, so this IR unit was a better value for me. After installing the software, set up and programming is a breeze. Common functions are recognized (like DVR "List" and "A","B",'C") and automatically added to the color screen. As a result, I haven't had to do any customizations. Troubleshooting is easy. Prompts will ask what the problem is and resend the signals to try to correct. Used this to replace projection TV remote, DVR remote, DVD remote, A/V receiver and PS3 controller (with the add-on Logitech adapter). Backlighting is triggered when you move the remote - a nice feature. One flaw is that the main buttons "Watch TV", "Listen to Music", etc. are not back lit. Charges via USB, but there's no battery indicator. Seems to have a lengthy charge life, though. Was tempted by the Harmony One, but this one does the trick. Works great so far - happy with my purchase.

We like our new universal remote controller, especially after having 3 or 4 remotes before we got this universal remote controller. It was easy to set up & I did it all by myself.

If you're upgrading from any of the earlier versions of the harmony line, eg. = harmony 550 or harmony xbox360, this unit will definitely be a plus. BE WARY that if you had a remote with the capacity of more than 6 remotes, after replacing the old remote, this one will transfer all of the previous ones, the unit will not function properly though. until you remove the extra remotes. I figure this is a memory issue and that logitech hasn't realized that this is an issue yet. I am sure that as soon as logitech knows about it they will fix it. Otherwise, this is a great unit and if i remember to, i will update this review in a few weeks.

This remote is great, i have it set up on my living room using Blu-ray, Yamaha A/v receiver, direct tv. The transistion between activities are seemless and quick. The only thing tjis remote cant do is get me a cold one!:)
