One remote controls absolutely all devices! Heaven. If you mess up there is a help screen to get you back on track. It's so easy to use.

I owned a RF50 Universal Remote for several years and replaced it with the Harmony 700 when it began having issues. The setup is done across the internet through Logitech's web interface which can be slow and a little confusing. Once the H700 setup is complete it is extremely easy to use. It is very lightweight but may not take much punishment. The remoter will sense when it is picked up and wake up for use. The battery seems to last several weeks from one charge.

I am very happy with my remote. It was set up by the geek squad so I really don't know about programming it. I just know that it meets my needs. It also comes with a charger which will save money on batteries.

It's a very good remote. Things I like: - has 4 coloured buttons (used on many devices these days) - great functionality and programming through Logitech software - feels good in the hand - bright colour display - all the button you need, plus some extras - Uses a standard USB cable and connector (non-proprietary) - Uses standard AA rechargeable batteries Things that could be better: - should have a charging dock so you don't have to plug in the charging cable all the time - could control more devices than 6 through Logitech's software Overall, I'm really happy I bought one, and my wife likes it too - we each have our own.

Very easy to program, multifunction remote. The unit will sometimes get it wrong when turning devices on and off, but is simple to correct. At the sale price, a great solution to the 4 - 5 remotes we were using.

This is a nice 6 device remote. But I'm writing mainly to point out that Best Buy's description is wrong. This remote does not have a touch screen. It has a color display with buttons beside the LCD to perform the functions on the screen. This works perfectly well, but is by no means a "touch" screen. Only the One, 900 and 1100 have touch screens. And of those, only the One has sequence capability. Logitech removed sequences from the 900 and 1100. Durability is unknown on this new, but most harmony's buttons wear out prematurely in my experience. Value would be higher if it could handle more than 6 devices like it's predecessors could.

This is the second Logitech I have had. I had the 880 which was a little better and did more but this works very well when I got used to it. good buy

Love logitech remotes, this was an upgrade from a previous remote about 4 years old. Super easy setup all done via the web, awesome. Rechargeable batteries another huge plus. Love the remote.

I bought this from bestbuy off the open box discount table for $60.00, Some of the devices I use do not have all the useful buttons. I have a 42" sylvania, old Kenwood vr1060 receiver and an Xbox 360 and functionality is almost flawless! I do not have my original Kenwood remote so I can not set up many of the features but no big deal... This thing will not charge when plugged in to any USB port... front of xbox, side of TV or computer. But the plug type is shared by many of my other devices I can almost charge it in any room in the house! All my favorite channels are set up with the logo pictures from their websites... that's awesome! I control my ceiling fan and a lamp with this thing too!

This is the first harmony remote I've bought and am very pleased. I have it configured to work with my Sony TV, PS3, Xbox 360, Yamaha audio receiver, DIRECTV receiver, Apple TV, and Roku 2XS. I'm amazed it can control all those products. It's nice to have one remote lying around vice5 or 6. Additionally, it comes with rechargeable batteries.

When looking at reviews, I always read the worst ones first. They are pretty scary. I decided that the good outweighed the bad and made the purchase. I set up the remote with no problems. It was a piece of cake. I have Samsung Plasma, Panasonic Blu-Ray, Pace Cable Box, Toshiba DVD Recorder. All were set up in about 40 minutes. I didn't much care for the preset buttons that Harmony put on the 700, so I customized with ease. Great product!!!I now have ONE remote instead of four. And my wife has no problems with the new remote. SO EASY

I have used harmony universal remotes for last couple of years and this one too does a great job controlling numerous devices in my living room.

I love the activity buttons so one touch sets up my system for whatever I want to do. I only have 5 components, so it does what I need. I like controlling it with the computer software. I just wish you could rearrange the order of your activities on the remote once they are set up. If I'd known I would have done the least used first. I don't understand reviews I've read on-line where people are upset because it doesn't do all that the Harmony One does. I'm assuming that's why it's $100 cheaper. I'm glad they make a more affordable choice for people who had trouble with the concept of remotes costing hundreds of dollars....but I wouldn't give it up now.

This was great buy and is very simple to use. It handles 7 6 of my devices all in one place. That is priceless! My children who are 8 and 11y/o handle it with such ease!

I wanted a single remote for a system that included DirecTV, Samsung LED/LCD TV, Bose Theater, Oppo BlueRay DVD player, Sony DVD recorder, and an old Panasonic VCR - the maximum number of devices that the 700 can control. Setup was quite easy, but idiosyncrasies with the video switching on the Bose made switching modes problematic and I had to keep reaching for one remote, or the other - goal of getting rid of the other remotes failed. Replaced with the 1100 model that has more control over delays (power on, power off, etc.) and that seemed to solve the problem, but at much higher cost. As it is only software, why couldn't the 1100 programatic features be part of the 700 for those who prefer the single hand style of remote?

after the geek squad set it up it has worked really well. It is a lot easier keeping track of one remote to work every thing, and charging the battery on it is so easy!

This is not as good a remote as Logitech's top of the line unit, but for the price it is first rate. Logitech makes setup very easy to accomplish.

I would have given 5-stars all around except for the fact that the set-up is not as easy as advertised. After several hours of trying, I finally gave up and called Logitech Support. THEY WERE AMAZING! It took the rep just 43 minutes to set-up my four devices and 5 activities. So, if you are not able to set-up the device within 90-minutes, I recommend that you save your frustration and call Logitech Support. I AM GLAD I DID!
