    Do not waste your money

Don't waste your moeny... I'm an IT project manager and can't get this thing to work. The setup right out of the box is no problem. The problem is, and this could be connectivity with my new Panasonic Viera TV and Panasonic Viera Blu-ray Home Theater System, but it never executes the same transactions in the same sequence every time. For example, when all units were off, and I chose to Watch TV, it would start up in iPod mode, or DVD and that regardless of which function was set befroe turning it off... And the thing is, it would not always fail in the same manner. Once to DVD when I wanted TV, the next time, to iPod when I wanted TV. I spent 6-7 hours trying to program this thing, including troubleshooting and online support. Again, my recommendation especialy if you have Panasonic Viera devices, DON'T BUY IT.

    Very unacceptable

Geek Squad was out twice to fix it and it never did work properly. It would function about 75% of the time and not turn on or off all the correct units. It would not recharge the batteries either so I exchanged it for a Harmony One (more money) but it does work OK. Although I purchased it from the Geek Squad I had to return it to a store and then buy an upgrade. Not a customer friendly system.

    Didn't work

I programmed it carefully with only 4 components, using the model numbers of the units. It would only turn on some of the components, then it had very minimal control over them. Not enough control to even change channels or play a DVD. It would not turn them all off. When I went back to the programming site, I could not log on again. After multiple tries I finally was able to get on and try again to reprogram the unit. I tried the IR unit to unit transfer, I tried the downloadable programming file, still no luck. After 3+ hours of fooling with it, I gave up. Lest you think I am computer illiterate, my continual use of computers goes all the way back to DOS and monochrome monitors. It is a great idea, but this product is a massive waste of time!

    WAY too complicated setup

I should not have to call their tech support for codes for devices. Still does not control devices properly. The codes for my surround/blu-ray system also work for my Seagate Theatre+ system. Not cool.

Never works good, you can program this device many times, and when you get tired to do it, still making errors. I will not recomend this item.

Didn't work out of box. Wouldn't remain charged. Website was a disaster trying to get it to "sync" the unit, kept freezing up and rebooted about ten times. The most I could get it to do was turn the TV set on once. Couldn't get it to even turn it off. Waste of time and money, it's going back to Best Buy tomorrow. Must be just me after looking at all the positive reviews, dunno.

Bought this remote yesterday, charged up batteries and completed set up.Worked for 6hrs,now the only thing that works is the backlight on the display panel and the buttons light up,nothing else! Pretty disappointing for a remote that costs over $100.00!

I am a tech savvy guy and love techy stuff, but this remote was ridiculous to set up and then it didn't work well w/my new Vizio TV. Had an All in 1 remote that was about 6 years old that works better w/my components than the Logitec. I'm sure the Harmony 700 has redeeming qualities, but it just wasn't for me.
