Complicated & Expensive & Missing Basic Functions

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After a week with this remote I realized Logitech has clearly decided what I want in a remote without actually asking us what anyone wants. I bought this to replace my tv, cable box, and audio reciever remotes. Sure it was able to replace them in the Harmony phone app, which has a terrible interface, BUT the actual remote is mostly useless. It doesn't have common sense buttons on it. I can't switch from device to device on the remote. It wants everything to be done in an automated but feature. HOWEVER like most people I switch from device to device. This kinda of feature is on any basic $30 universal remote. What am I paying over $100 for in this thing. It actually made me use this remote along with the devices original remote. They want you to setup this device in the app, but I found the app annoying and complicated to use. I then hooked it up to my computer to setup the functions it was missing and still had major issues that resulted in multiple trips to my computer to change things. Don't waste your money on this remote. Go for something much cheaper and get common sense remote design. I'm a very tech savvy person who once worked electronic retail AND even I thought this thing was complicated garbage. It's being returned.

SOFTWARE IS NOT STABLE

App doesn't work

We use TiVo a lot and the remote doesn't have a button for it. After about a week I started having problems with the phone app. When I'd choose to turn on the system to watch TV, or TiVo the TV wouldn't turn on with all the other components. Then I'd have to dig out the original TV remote and turn the TV on. It wasn't long before I had the remotes for all my components on the coffee table. Defeats the purpose of a universal remote.
