    I got this product to control all of my components and TV to integrate with Amazon Echo. The app is pure junk and so is the Harmony skill for Alexa. Worked for about a month, then got spotty. Now it doesn’t work correctly at all.

    I have used various harmony remotes in the past. They have always been one step better than the competition, but that never meant much as most of the options had plenty of draw backs. This remote is a joy to use. Its simple, light, and fits in the hand well. It consistently controls the devices and unlike my prior harmony is not too touchy whereby it resets when I drop or hand off. I initially thought that the lack of a touch screen would be bad, but for the most part this controls all of the things in my living room where I just have a TV, PC, and Directv. I was not a fan of the idea of setting up through a mobile phone app, but the process went very well and was much better than with older remotes done via pc to usb. It is also much simpler to tweak the settings. Simply change the setting in the app on the phone and done. I have read others complaints around the lack of compatibility with other home automation and currently have not invested in anything, but bought with the hope that there will be support for a clear leader in that space in the next year. I see so many players changing in home automation in the next year and hope that this can be a part of it and that logitech goes towards the industry instead of closing off to a handful of players including is on proprietary solutions.

    Disappointing that Logitech disbanded the remote control market. Bought this in 2020 - but have not used it yet. Considering that Logitech and most others have abandoned the home remote controls - it seems pointless to write a review on a worthless product that no longer exists. I bought it - because it might be compatible with the various streaming devices. Rule of thumb as always - never lose your remote!!!

    i did not like this remote. Even with the hub it failed to turn on and off everything when it was supposed to and with no touchscreen the help function was not good. I upgraded to the elite and love it.

    Impossible to program (and j consider myself a techie). Feels good in hand and when works it's pretty good. It works about half the time. Overall not worth the time or trouble

    Does NOT work with Alexa not Philip's Lights

    This remote no longer does what it says it will do... I spoke with customer service, they informed me that this remote will not connect with Philip's Lights, Alexa, nor Cisco Cable Boxes anymore. Therefore, it is going back to BestBuy. There really isn't a remote that does everything except the Sevenhugs (if you can afford $300.00) remote. It seems like it does it ALL by the reviews I read. Also, it is WiFi and Bluetooth. Logitech is not Bluetooth.

    For $140 this was not impressive. I feel like this was over complicated and not impressive enough to warrant it.

    Don’t waste your money if you own a Vizio. The supplied remote will not turn Off the TV. You can only make it work through the app, and even that is hit or miss. This is the second time I’ve tried their hub technology. Never again. The first time one the hub bricked while updating the firmware. A couple of years later, I thought I’d try again. This one it will not turn off a simple TV. Taking it back tomorrow.

    I had problems setting up applets and had no help from tech support. The woman I talked with had no help to offer, as if she didn't know the product herself.

    I would say we are pretty tech savvy but this remote is complicated once it has been set up. It’s sensitive when you accidentally sit on the remote and turns off all the devices but when you want to purposely turn devices on, it has a massive delay. Overall I would not recommend. You are better off with a cheap universal remote. This is not worth the money.

      Hello Irene. Thank you for taking the time to write your review of the Harmony Companion remote. I'm sorry you're having issues with the programming and use of the Companion. The Harmony line uses "activities" to turn on/off and control your devices with as little as one button press. Due to this feature, I understand that often times simple tasks are difficult to accomplish. I would suggest creating an activity to control each individual device so you won't have to go through all the menus to find the correct device.     Avoid this product. The setup is confusing and nonsensical. Setting this thing up is like writing a computer program. There is nothing intuitive about it, and of course there are no instructions provided. There is the usual on-line FAQ, which is useless. You are better off keeping two or three remotes around rather than burning many frustrating hours on top of the ludicrous amount of money this thing costs. Logitech needs to design products for humans to use. This one is not.

    I got this as a temp remote. It works ok. I needed a hard button remote for a project. But still prefer Simple Control app for iOS over harmonys remote.

    Great idea but ended up returning it. Even with 200,000 codes our new LG 4k tv would not work with the remote. The product support sucked.
