Works wel not dificult to set up. Tales a while to get used to it

Bought and set this up for a Doctor and his family. TV, 4k Receiver, Blue-ray player, Google Chromecast, DVD player. Used the free App on an iPhone to setup and test each component, and then programmed each activity. Worked wonderful, even let them access and control Netflix on their Vizio smart tv.

No wonder why everyone raves about Harmony remote. One of the best universal remote, period. I got this for my living room TV. All my other equipment are in the basement in a central location and this remote talks to each of them flawlessly. I used HDBASET with IR for communication between the Hub and the devices downstairs.

I bought this remote to synch with Alexa. She can turn on the TV and my soundbar at the same time. Alexa also changes channels but she can't control the volume from the soundbar or tv at least I have not figured out how.

Very good., Easy to setup. I would recommend this.

I love that I don't have to teach anybody how to use my entertainment center. Pick up the remote and just choose what you want to do. The only minor thing is that the PlayStation will not get the command a first time as the Bluetooth times out.

I bought this remote to replace and outdated Logitech Harmony model that was geared toward the Xbox 360, and had an LCD screen. Unfortunately, while this one adds Bluetooth capability and better IR blasting through the hub, it's less reliable with no good workarounds. Some problems with this model: 1. Rarely works with FireTV: it switches to Fire TV just fine, but the remote often does nothing. I might have to activate the activity again, or wait a long time before the hub connects to the Fire TV. Poor Logitech implementation. The Fire TV remote itself turns itself off to save battery, but reconnects within 1-2s of pressing a button. The Harmony hub is powered, so why does it disconnect?! 2. Unreliable Alexa integration: Simple commands like "Turn on the TV" fail most of the time. Either it says "the device isn't responding", or it says "OK" and does nothing. Again, I have to repeat most commands twice. This is not a recognition issue, BTW. It understands me correctly, but Harmony either returns an error response to Alexa, or returns a success while it does nothing! 3. Buggy Alexa skills: First off, I cannot make changes to things like activity/channel nicknames without disabling and re-enabling the skill. Second, when I try to add nicknames, it always rejects them. So I just get the channels Harmony wants to give me, and can't add any! 4. Too much power cycling: Unlike my old Harmony, this remote power-cycles devices like my amplifier too much. My setup is simple with 1 amplifier. Why does it turn it off sometimes when switching activities? Should only do so when I turn off the system. 5. No "fix" from the remote: Even the best solutions fail sometimes. I bought a remote for a reason. I don't want the app. Unlike the previous remote, there is no "Fix/Help" button when things go wrong. So when something doesn't work, I have to get the original device remote, or get my phone to use the app. I may end up returning this. I do wonder if more expensive models that come with a screen could at least resolve #4.

The hardware and design are excellent. The smartphone app (iPhone and iPod Touch) is good. The setup process is simple but specific features on certain components (mostly TV's for me) are confusing and sometimes with missing remote buttons that need to be set up individually.

I am sure this product would probably work great if I had the technical ability to set it up. However, neither me not my daughter could make it work. We had not problem setting up my smart TV but couldn't quite handle this one.

We use this on a Pioneer receiver inside our home that is connected to our patio & pool speakers. We can lay in & around the pool and still control our receiver. Difficult to set the phone up & you can't view "menu" from your phone so its great if you have a tv connected as well or if you only want to play from playlists. It's great buy for $119!

This is a terrific products, it holds your phone in an upright position which you can always charge also. I first purchased it just so my phone wouldn't lay flat on my nightstand, I found another great way to use this product when your phone is on speaker as because of his vertical position you are much easier to hear.

I tried and returned this remote. Here are my observations: - Set up was pretty easy. - It would not operate all of my components...my audio receiver is a few feet from my TV and the Harmony would not turn them both on together. - The corded IR relay was laughable. The last thing I want is another cord in the picture! - The deal breaker, no onboard help function like in previous remotes. One needs to use a phone to access help features. This is needless complexity in my humble view.
