This remote works for all of my home entertainment devices. The internal IR and IR extension allows hiding my components within a closet but can control via IR extension. This also works with my Amazon Echo.

My receiver's remote stopped working. I was looking to buy a universal remote but opted this try out the hub as well. For my tasks , watch TV to switch on TV with correct input,AVR, Apple TV and to watch movies with bluray player... this works good. And the plus is the ability to voice control via Alexa to turn on and off my tv+avr. I see bad feedback regarding the app but for me the andriod app was perfect to setup my watch routines. I recommend it...

I keep seeing where everyone has trouble with this smart hub. I am not sure why. I have Google home and plenty of smart switches all over my house. It took a minute to set up but I never needed a computer. I used the app for everything. I am able to get my google home to do everything that i ask it to do and it is so cool. I recommend this to anyone with the patience to set it up and the background with harmony remotes. I couldnt imagine my smart home without it.

I had a poor experience with Logitech support for their wireless keyboard and mouse, and was very reluctant to purchase another Logitech product. However, I had a particular need for a new Home Theater, and the features of this remote fit the bill. I have not been disappointed. The remote and hub enabled me to easily control a variety of components which were located off to the side of my listening position, which regular remotes didn't work well. The programmability was quite good, so I could set up presets for different activities (watching TV, Blu-Ray, Netflix, etc.). Being able to create macros as well further enhances functionality. The physical remote also works quite well, in addition to the Android App. The physical remote should really be back-lit (my Home Theater room is kept quite dark), and that is the reason for subtracting a star from the rating. I was able to get it on sale for $79.99 which made it quite a good value.

Great remote for the money. Only thing that would make it better is if it had back lighting. I don't have a device that this can't control.

Bought this remote to replace my Logitech Harmony 890. Easily copied my 890's setup information. The remote that came with this system is much sturdier than the 890 and just as easy to use. I like not having to put the IR emitters on all of my equipment. I also have my daughter's, my wife's and my iPhones set up as remotes. I set my wife's android phone up also. I then set up our two iPads as remotes. Works perfectly and cost about one-third of the 890. This is the way to go if you have your electronics behind solid doors or in a closet.

My components: Sony TV, Sony Receiver, Uverse cable box, Sony Bluray player, Amazon TV Firestick Pros: - Easy setup. It automatically detected most of my devices and the ones that it didn't detect were very easy to add. - Integrates with Alexa. I love being able to turn my entire entertainment system on and off, pausing/playing. - Works great with all of my devices - much better than any other universal remote I've used. I rarely have to take out the dedicated device remotes.

It works really well. Programming it was fairly easy and didn't take too long. I love how I can use the app on my phone and iPad to control the TV, stereo, DVR, etc. I love it, and I now have 3 of them.

I have other harmony remotes and this is no different as user friendly usage this was only bought for the apple functions

it is a very good product , it is also easy to use. it is a great price, and would definitly recommend for anyone. also it is very to set up

I’ve been using Logitech universal remotes for so long, I don’t know much else. I used to manually program a Sony that should qualify me for some degree or certification. These make all others obsolete.

This remote works well with everything I have tried. Even an older CD changer and VCR. The app on the phone is one of the better ones I have used. You can't move the buttons between pages but it has every button on the original remote by scrolling through pages. The physical remote is basic and good to get things going or to control volume and menus. If you like to fine tune everything with a physical remote, I would look at the next model with the touch screen remote. As far as controlling everything, it has worked well.

My boss and I are in a home automation race and I caught a glimpse of this device at his place recently. Despite his efforts to downplay this things capabilities I had to pick one up, and it's awesome. It literally works with everything including many of my smart home features, my 12 year old Denon receiver and my Xbox One to name a few. Highly customizable and fairly easy to setup. Integration with IFTTT a plus. Bonus points: with one touch activities my girlfriend can finally watch TV on her own.

Had an older Harmony and loved it. Had to.do alot more troubleshooting the imported macros that I would have imagined. When it works with Alexa it's great. But it's macros a really hit or miss. I.e. turning on- off tv macro. The basic remote functions are fine and I love how the remote isn't IR and doesn't need line of site to work.

It is easy to program. I couldn't find my cable box model listed so chose a similar one and worked like a charm. It can be confusing on when you have to say Harmony and when you dont for it to work. It doesn't know if you change something with another remote so that causes problems. Works ok with Alexa. The technology is still evolving.

No more clutter with multiple remotes for all the devices. I bought this for someone who is tech challenged. The programming is self explanatory and now everything can be done at the click of a button - even from your phone!

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to condense the number of remotes they have for their home theater setup. The functionality programming is easy and intuitive and even works with the Xbox one as a controller.

I am loving this remote, now that it is set up correctly. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because of setup. I suggest not using the App for set up but plug it into your laptop, as it is a much smoother installation. I also moved the hub on top of the cabinet by my TV, and a mini blaster in my closed cabinet with my other devices. I can now turn on my TV by asking Alexa. I have my Dish Joey 2, Amazon Fire, Antenna for my local channels, and Google Chromecast all controlled by this remote.

I'd wait for the price to hit about $69. Best Buy has it on sale at that price from time to time. The hub itself is worth the money. You can control your home entertainment system with your phone, anywhere your home WiFi reaches. It comes with an IR blaster so you can hide the hub and have only the blaster show. Or position the hub and blaster so you get really good coverage to control your devices. The remote itself is very small and neat looking, but I never use it. It has no LCD display at all, which even the cheap Harmony 650 does, so you can't really get any status feedback from it. The real fun comes when you connect it to SmartThings Hub and/or Alexa or Google Home. Then you can have the TV turn on when you enter the room, or ask alexa to turn it on and change the channels. I have my own custom Home Automation software that takes advantage of it.

This is my 3rd unit to control my 3rd av system. Much easier to program than in th past. Remote doesn’t have to be in line of sight. Integrates with Echo so I can turn my tv on and off by voice.
