    Impossible to program

    Smart phone app keeps losing connection. Had to manually assign an IP address. I found it extremely difficult to get the buttons duplicate the on buttons on my Xfinity X1 Box and my Samsung TV remotes.

    The remote is awesome when it works, but frustrating at best the rest of the time. It just stops responding after about 15 seconds. When you do a complete reinstall it works for a couple of weeks, then back to stop responding. The idea is awesome, the execution from Harmony is garbage as usual. Very frustrating.

    I have an outdoor tv that is hooked up to direct tv. So everytime I wanted to turn my tv on I would have to go where my direct tv box is (in my bedroom) to turn it on and change channels. I was told by buying this logitch remote, I wouldn't have to do that anymore as it works by radiofrequency. Well after trying to figure it out for 4 hours online myself, I had to speak with 2 different agents and wasted over 3 more hours on the phone having them run me through various tests only to be told at the end of the conversation, when we had exhausted every trial run, that because my direct tv box and tv are not "right next to each other" that this would not work. Word to the wise, unless you have the patience of a saint and don't mind wasting your whole day on something that may not work, don't buy this device!

    It's great when it works. Going back. It could not maintain a connection with my wifi and the control would not respond to the the commands. The app had a problem connecting the hub. very disappointed.

    I really wanted to like this remote. The idea behind it is pretty cool. However, after about three weeks using it... it is going back. Several reasons for this: 1) It probably works 50% of the time as it should. The countless reboots of the hub are annoying and shouldn't be necessary if the product worked. 2) I emailed Logitech support and posted in their own forum, BOTH went unanswered. 3) I purchased a new sound bar and even though the manufacturer is in the logitech data base, this remote did not work with it. (What was strange was, an old Logitech 650 that I pulled out of a drawer works great with this same device. So, it's going back...

    I purchased this Harmony thinking it would be great for my Blind Father-In-Law and his wife to control the Roku and Their Dish Network reciever. . Awful. You can't even do half of what they claim. I thought I would be able to program a couple of buttons to switch between the Dish and the Roku, but no. First of all, to even switch between the two the app and the software forces you to "turn on" the tv. Basically on the assumption that the TV would already be off. How stupid. They might as well use their existing remotes! AVOID HARMONY AT ALL COSTS, No matter the price they are NOT worth it! JOKE!

    Setup issues, will be returning

    I bought this to replace my old universal remote. I have an IPhone 5 that I was going to use it with. Tried setting it up through the downloaded app on the IPhone...error message. Wouldn't let me finish the setup. Tried to go through their website on my laptop to finish setup...error message. Wouldn't let me finish the setup. E-mailed customer support and was told I'd have a response in 48 hours. It's now been 6 days and nothing. I'm taking it back and going with a cheaper model. The little included remote finished it's setup and works pretty well but that's not what I bought this for.

    When I purchased this roughly 8 months ago it worked pretty good. Occasionally it would get some of my devices out of sync with each other. Now the hub stops responding several times a week and when it is responding it rarely communicates to all devices at once. I contacted customer support and I get the run around. Telling me to reset the hub. The app is not really usable for me. It's doesnt have everything on one screen so you have to switch screens for everything. Do yourself a favor, don't buy one with this hub. It's a great idea, it's just not reliable.

    Horrible product, a huge step backwards

    I had a Logitech 900 and got this to resolve issues with that remote seizing when switching activities. Most of the functions on the iphone do not work. Cursor control is a major issue with the Pioneer SC-65 receiver in Pandora or network function. Even though the Pioneer SC-65 is in it's data base it is missing at least 40% of the commands. There is no way that I would waste the time to add all the activities one button at a time. It would take well over half a day the way you have to do it. I am taking it back today and getting my money back. Major waste of time.

    Worst remote experience I've had in years

    Hopefully I just got a lemon but here's what I went through in the last 3 days before returning the unit: 1) 8 hrs trying to resolve nondescript errors connecting to wifi "unable to configure remote, error de1004l 2) 45 min on hold waiting for Logitech phone support 3) 30 min on phone with actual live person 4) 3 days exchanging emails with Logitech support (1 response from them per day). And the recommendation from the vendor after all that? "Return or exchange in the store". My question-can you be sure the next unit will work? Response "no"

    Hub would not complete set up. Spent literally hours trying and retrying the suggestions found in Logitech's Knowledge Base, including probably 20 factory resets. Very frustrating that a website search for the actual error code (DE1004) resulted in "sorry, there are no results." If you're going to generate an error code, why not have a Knowledge Base article explaining it? I so wanted it to work, but, after several wasted hours, will be returning it.

    I tried. I kept this remote for the full return period. Thinking it was me, but no. I have a Samsung and after a week or so the remote stopped turning on the TV. Then I wrote a Google Review because the box shows an app but I couldn't download one. They sent me a link but that led me nowhere. It was bad. BOOOOO!!!

    If you don't have devices on different tv inputs this would be nice but it never gets the right input. Forget doing 2 things at once cause it will shut off other stuff. Didn't work well on 2 brands of tvs.

    We watch far less TV, video and Apple TV because this device is so frustrating and inconsistent. We have had it for over a year. Logitech tech support offered no help at time of installation and with subsequent calls.. Previous Harmony devices were ideal. This is a horrible universal remote.

    Will not connect to network

    I bought this to use my phone has the remote. The hub never connected to my network. I even set the hub next to my router and it still didn't connect. I'm not spending $100 for another remote. This will be returned
