Unlike my previous Logitech Harmony remote, this controls all the functions of all my components. It operates from the minimalist included remote, but also from our iPhones & iPads, with a terrific app. (I couldn't find the app in the Apple app store search, for some reason, but did find it here: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/harmony-smart-control). The hub has to be close to the components, and my nearby power strip is already full. I would have preferred a longer power cord for the hub, to make this easier.

The remote is comfortable to hold and use. I'm trying to sync it with my amazon echo and it takes a bit of trial and error to get it working properly. If it wasn't for the echo part, this remote is great! it found my samsung tv without issue, and also found my dvr from my cable provider. If it goes on sale, buy it!

It recognized all my devices all was easy to set up on computer. The included remotes works well. It was also easy to set up on iPhone. If you leave the application open to control volume or change devices it will drain your phone battery fairly quickly. You can close the app and reopen when needed, but thats too much trouble. I usually just use the included control.

Most of the directions are easy. Works with many devices by numerous manufacturers. I would purchase again if needed.

Works great! I had to have someone program it for me but I have bought a second one for another room. It just makes things easier!!!

Works as advertised. Set-up is a breeze using the IOS app no PC needed. 3 programmable buttons at the top to change activities are nice short press for 1 long press for another to give 6 activities. I was a little worried about hub placement because my entertainment center has no doors. Works just fine sitting beside one of the components and still reaches the TV wall mounted above. The only complaint I have is that it is not compatible with the PS4 but I don't believe any remote will pair directly with this console.

Purchased this to replace an aging Harmony remote I had. This one works good and functions when the buttons are pressed which is where my older model was failing. Only dislike I have is the design in which you have short or long button presses to perform different functions. Short/Long is subjective at times and can cause some frustration. However, the price to options can't be beat.

This is an excellent remote that works my Samsung TV, PS3, Wii, and FIOS box. You can even use your mobile phone. It turns on both the Wii and PS3 even if they are behind closed cabinet doors. Both the phone and remote work from any room in the house (while connected to your Wifi) so no line of sight is necessary! Set up is actually simple but I stumbled through it a bit. Read the instructions carefully and all will go well! Very good remote that eliminates the need for multiple remotes and simplifies everything!

First remote of this type for me, so take my review from that standpoint. There was a lot of initial set up steps and doesn't still fully function the way I want it to. I have no interest in doing anything from my phone. I simply wanted one remote instead of 2 or 3. Kids find it easy to work and I like the convenience of one remote. Could be there is a better harmony remote for me, but this was a decent price.

At this $60-80 price points this has been on lately, it's an amazing buy I have 3 in my home. The simple remote it comes with is really good. After a bit lengthy, but all inclusive programming the hub emits Bluetooth/IR/RF waves and can control almost any device. I almost never have issues and when I have guests I can have them controlling things that require 4-5 things to be turned on and would be a nightmare with base remotes with single buttons.

I have purchased several Logitech remotes over the years. From the early "enter your code and press #" type to the Harmony One (circa 2010) I still have my "one" but when the "smart" was on sale, I purchased it. While the app may still need some tweaking, the setup, programming, automation is the easiest, and most reliable I have seen from any of Harmony products. The earlier remote still worked fine, but required some concessions. The "smart" has a blaster that catches everything the first time and due to the ease of set-up, gets high regards from me. It even comes with additional IR blaster that can be plugged into the back to catch hidden components. After purchasing on sale, I got a steal, it is well worth the regular price.

This remote is great! Coming from a previous Logitech harmony remote, setup was simple. I downloaded the app. All editing of sequences can be done from the app as well as access to each individual device.

I purchased this remote to reduce the hassle of having multiple remotes and glad I use a single remote now.Works great even if you have a wall in between.

The set up was quick and easy and also gets quite exciting when you realize the capabilities of this little device. I use this for my LG smart TV, DirecTV Genie, Roku, DVD player, and Sonus Playbar. I generally use the remote control it came with and rarely use the iPhone app. One of our primary reasons for getting this was its use of radio frequency instead of infrared. This allowed us to hide our players (DirecTv genie, DVD player, etc.) and the remote can communicate with them even behind closet doors. The hub doesn't even have to be in front of the players. I have ours placed on top of the Genie and it still works great. For the DirecTV Genie, I was able to add a slow-motion button that the original remote doesn't even come with. There are some things that can be quite tricky though. First, because the smart feature of our LG TV operates independent of the current TV input, if you want to switch activities from Smart TV to DirecTV, you have to make sure to exit out of Smart TV first - as opposed to simply pressing the DirecTV activity button. Another annoying situation (which is not the remote's fault) is that the amount of time the TV turns on from shutdown varies. So when you have a customized activity that automates pressing the directional buttons a few times, you have to make sure to have the appropriate amount of delay time. Otherwise, the activity may start even before the TV is completely on. All in all though, it is a very good device to have.

Was able to connect all my devices, now I can control everything with no hassle of switching remotes. Works through cabinets and the hub is great because it works with Amazon products.

I purchased this remote system for my home theater which has the projector in the viewing area, but all of my AV stack in a closet. I specifically wanted a solution that could both turn on all my equipment with a single button, and allow me to handle volume without getting up and opening the closet. I found the initial setup pretty straightforward, and with a little tweaking I have it working well with everything but my PS4 (which it is having trouble waking but can control otherwise). Word to the wise, after you have the devices for your AV system all setup, take a look in the phone app at the devices delays. Mine had a 3ish minute startup delay for my projector, which is on and warmed up after about 30-40secs. This was screwing up some of my "Activities" timing, but once I cut it down to line up with the actual startup time everything worked great. The amount of fiddling with settings (which aren't even really mentioned during setup) and inability of the machine to wake my PS4 are the only reason I knocked it down to 4 stars. Otherwise it has been great!

Very easy to setup, operate, and reliable functionality. Works as expected. Great product and the mobile app is cool too.

I bought this to work my tv with Amazon Alexa. It can turn my tv on and off change the channel and volume all with my voice. Controlling other components connected to the Tv is a plus.

I already had the earlier model and purchased this one to work with Amazon Alexa for my audio video equipment

Once I realized I needed to touch 3 remotes to watch something I looked at these solutions. You have to spend some time organizing your stuff and configuring things properly, but once you do it works very well! I'm pleased I can do most things with the 1 remote and that I can use my PHONE or TABLET as well!
