Let me be clear. I do not understand electronics and when I see all of these devices connected to the television, wire clutter and a massive number of remotes next to this huge television, I go crazy. When we purchased our bigger television and a few components, I mentioned more remotes - ugh. The salesman showed us the Harmony. It will control multiple televisions, multiple devices and removed all of the other remotes. We can even bypass the Harmony handset and access from our iPhone. I don't understand all that it does but my I know that we are down to one remote and even I can access other entertainment devices all from one unit and no more clutter and confusion.

It is a great and simple remote to setup and use, and we have purchased several of these remotes.

the hub allows any smartphone and tablet to become a remote so you basically you never have to buy a remote ever again. Signal is passed to the system through the wifi so no more line of site to change channels etc. Can be programmed through a computer or in my case replacing an older one it actually transferred the settings over so I had to do nothing to start using it. Great product

This remote did exactly what I needed and was a terrific price on sale at Beat Buy. This was purchased as a replacement for my parents older Logitech remote. Smart phone integration was simple and works as expected.

I purchased this mainly for the harmony hub to link with my new google home. It has performed flawlessly and given me the ability to just tell google to turn on my TV and it turns on my TV, cable box, denon receiver, and automatically flips it to the input and channel I always watch. It has great customization and is priced at a bargain.

This remote works great. Controlling a Roku TV TCL, Sony 4K Blu-ray, Xbox one, and a Denon receiver. Its activity-based. Using the harmony app you configure what devices and inputs are needed to operate an activity such as watch a movie, play game, watch TV, etcetera. Also allows you to program sequences. Minor annoyance is if you're one that likes to tinker with the picture as you watch a movie, you'll likely need to have the original TV remote readily available. While you can program buttons to your liking, they intentionally keep the button layout pretty simple and only focused on the most necessary buttons needed to function within an activity. All in all I'm glad I bought this.

I must say I was reluctant to buy this remote because it did not have a lcd screen, but the price was just too good to pass up. I tried it out and it works great, I have had harmony remotes for 10+ years. This one seems to have streamlined what I needed. I run my Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Yamaha Receiver, Samsung TV and PS4. I know that it will do more, but that is all I need right now. The best part is when it falls in between the sofa cracks and I can't find it, I just pull out the Cell phone and I am good to go! Excellent product.

This is one great remote. Easy to set up and the app works fine. The app is easier to use with a tablet but that said all in all a great buy.

perfect hub if you have alexa and smarthub. possitioning is key in order to get pefect signal for all the devices. if you have your devices inside a closet then it will work and bounce, but if it's in the open and you have a lot of windows you might need to possition the hub like what i did on the other side so that it will see the devices and turn it on or off. I also set it up with smarthub and alexa so now i can turn it on or off with voice recognition also changing channels via voice command. the hub is small and nice so it can blend in with decorations. great stuff i just wish the andvance pro remote is cheaper but with the rf signal the remote works great. simple remote it doesn't have a lot of adv features so limited this is really if your into using smart phone as the control.

Fairly easy to install, and was able to control several pieces of equipment hidden in cabinet.

I bought this after my 880 died. Well worth the money, the only downside is the buttons aren't backlit. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

Excellent all-in-one remote and great for tying in with other Home Automation efforts. The initial set-up is easy, but can take some time depending on how many components you're setting up. Once set-up there are numerous options to customize tasks and build your own for all your AV components plus some other Home Automation devices.

I've been using the same model for years with no problems. If I ever did run into a problem over the years, it was wifi signal strength, not the products fault. Easy set up on comp. Easy sync. You either grab for the included remote or your phone- a no brainer remote. Every device I own from game councils to floor fans is supported.

It works as described. Will buy another for the upstairs

I was told by a Logitech rep prior to buying this model would work on my Amazon Firesticks and that I could add the harmony 700 to the hub. This way I could have two remotes, one remote upstairs/downstairs, but this is not the case. It does work some for the Firestick but not all the functions, also there is no way to add/pair the first remote to the hub. The app is a bit weird also and I consider myself a techie. So I will be returning this immediately. Sadly other than the Firestick not working on the Harmony 700, it was a third of the price and by far a much better. This remote setup is definitely NOT worth $150 remote. IMO The question asked if I wld recommend, I wld depending on what exactly they are wanting to do with it. What features they need.

It has a little bit of a learning curve but totally worth it in the end

I have two of these in my house. They are essential if you have a complicated entertainment system, or are just looking for an incredibly simple solution to cutting down on the number of remotes you have to use. Not to mention the integration with SmartThings and Amazon Echo make home automation all the more easy and fun.

Works great with Samsung Smart things and Amazon Alexa

I purchased this and was able to cut down on the number of remotes that I used to have to use to control my entertainment. If I want to watch a DVD, watch Satellite, listen to music on my Sonos speakers or watch Amazon Fire, or Roku I can do it with this one single remote instead of having to hunt down a separate remote for every function. If you want to make your life easier and with less clutter on your end table this is the way to go. Harmony is the would leader in remote control of entertainment devices and Best Buy is the best place to purchase because the geek squad can get it up and running for you.
