If you're looking to upgrade from a handheld remote to a hub system, this basic set is a good place to start. Hubs benefit because they are stationery and placed for optimal direction, and always plugged in for strong power. Plus when you connect it to your wifi then more possibilities open up when you add it to IFTTT.

So far it is better than the two other Logitech remotes that I had purchased by far. Do not have to worry about the screen on the remote go blank anymore. Very happy that it works with my Alexa dot. Turns the TV on and off also switches to different components when asked. No problem at all.

Works with pretty much anything. Smart Phone companion app is great to have. You'll need it to set up/troubleshoot. Physical remote is nice but if it had a back light it would be better. Hard to see in dark.

Needed a universal mouse and this did the trick. Very tempting for dogs and kids to take but with its low profile it can be easily hidden away.

This remote did take a little effort to set up; You either need a smart phone or a computer. I'd suggest the app for the phone as it makes set up a little less cumbersome. However, once you get the hang of the app, the functions of the remote (assigning inputs, grouping devices, ect...) is extremely effective! The remove works as expected as well! Grouping devices is fantastic as you only need to press one button to turn on all devices. The remove works flawlessly with my apple TV, Xbox One, Samsung Plasma, and vizio sound bar. No longer do I need to search for a remote or different controllers. I highly recommend this item, especially if you can get it on BestBuy's deal of the day!

I LOVE this remote and hub! The remote itself feels great in the hand and is well balanced. It has a nicely textured back and the buttons are well laid out. The hub is great as it allows me to control my home theater using Alexa voice commands with Amazon Echo. Very convenient, even my wife loves it!

Easy to set up. Like this one without the touch screen display. Lower cost and just a great funcionality

Worth every penny! Control your whole entertainment center with just one remote. Easy setup if you can follow instructions.

What else can you really say, logitech remotes are simply the best. Paired with the harmony hub, and google home, it's really amazing. simply ask google to "Turn on the Tv." and it fires up, turns down my lifx lights (changes color on them too). All off of one command. Highly recommended. Also set it up so that it will fire up the xbox 360 for my son and change inputs, adjust lights ect.-- again, all from asking google home to "Turn on Xbox."

My only complaint is that the remote is not backlit. Also a pain top find my phone to correct problems, but sure easy to do once I have. Love that the remote no longer needs to be pointed at the devices.

I love only having only one remote for everything, and the fact that I can link it to my Amazon Echo!

I purchased this Harmony Smart Control to control my stereo anywhere in the house and it works great.

Easy to use and set up. Works on any TV. Great price.

This device has made my life a lot easier. It is able to control my LG TV, Vizio Soundbar, and Xbox One X. It is also able to control my PS4 pro, but it can't turn that one on (because PS4 uses bluetooth, so not the fault of this unit). My one gripe is that the remote is only like 70% useful, because there are only a handful of buttons and you have to remember what buttons do what (not labelled). This doesn't matter to me as much because I bought it for the Alexa integration (which works really well). However, my girlfriend has a really hard time using the remote. If you absolutely need a good remote, go with the upgraded version that has the touch screen.

I love this remote. The fact that it works with my PS3 without having to buy anything additional is wonderful. Just make sure the hub is in the correct spot and you are good to go. Setup was very easy as well. The Alexa intergration works great as well.

Logitech Harmony remotes are the gold standard when it comes to universal remotes, and the Harmony Smart Control does not disappoint. This remote remote will be great for some, but not for others . . . Pros: - slim, sleek design - everything you need to control up to 6 activities (we use ours with a TV, sound bar, BluRay player, AppleTV, and Roku Stick) - remote-to-hub configuration provides excellent range . . . and does not requite remote to be pointed at the device(s) being controlled Cons: - some might miss having a display on the remote (personally, this doesn't bother me in the least, since the remote does everything I need it to do) - people who have more devices/activities to control than this device facilitates will need a different Harmony remote If you want a slim remote that does a great job of controlling 6 activities (or less) and gives you the option to use their app to turn your tablets/smartphones into additional remotes . . . pick this up when it's on sale and enjoy!

This is my second Logitech smart control. I have had the first one for 3 years and I have only had one problem with it not turning on one device. All the other times it has done a fantastic job. Programming the remotes are very simple and it works better than any other universal remote I have owned.

I bought this device to pair with my Amazon Echo and I have to say I am pretty impressed. Every once in a while it does not function as expected (may not turn on the tv) but all in all a good product.

Great product! Love the remote control still learning how to use the app and the remote fuction on the smart phone.
