Fairly easy set up on this unit. Good remote for control of a basic system. No dedicated lighting control buttons..

What a great device! I have always loved the harmony line of remotes. The only issue I have had with the last couple is their durability. If you drop them, they don't work right again. This fixes that problem. Plug it in, attach to wireless and done. No more loading software on your PC. You can just reprogram it with your phone! I bought one last week, then I upgraded to Comcast's x1 device and had the remote reprogrammed within minutes. It will run up to eight devices. That is more than enough for me. Support for new devices is very quick. I was surprised to see the x1 device already supported. If you have the opportunity to buy one, don't hesitate.

Love that I can say Alexa, turn on the TV and it will fire up my TV and switch to the correct input and channel. There are some hub connectivity issues once in a while. The positives outweigh the negatives though. Has the codes for most anything except for a all region dvd player I have. Comes with a simple remote that is great for replacing three remotes and of course can controller any of the equipment from the phone app. Using this with Samsung Smart Things hub and Amazon Echo Dot.

It took me a while to get it set up. My goal was to have one remote for my television, receiver, and to control Kodi (XBMC). With the right programming and the purchase of a Flirc, I now have everything incorporated into one remote control.

Our living room has all of our electronics toward one side of the room and the TV mounted on the center wall. Traditional remotes were a paid because we had to point to the right to turn on the receiver and cable box, the point to the middle of the room to turn on the TV. Now we press one button and everything we need turns on. We owned a Harmony Link before which worked well but required the use of a smartphone - There was a definite neat factor but it was a pain sometimes unlocking the phone and locating the app on the phone. Also, the lack of tactile feel of a Smartphone made it almost impossible to navigate the controls (Volume, Channels, etc) without looking at the device. With the Harmony Smart Control, the traditional remote makes things much MUCH easier. Simple design, intuitive layout, good stuff!

If you are in the market for a remote control solution that will control all of your different A/V components.. And you also want an easy option (ex. parents) and you want a feature packed option (ex. Hopefully you.) within a single solution...then this is it! It includes a basic remote and/or allows the user to use an app from their touchscreen device. I click a channel and that's what my TV changes to. This worked perfectly after a few setup kinks I had to work through related to my environment. (equipment positioning)

I love this product from Harmony. This is my second Harmony remote and by far the best. One of the best features to me is the Alexa feature, which works seamlessly with all of my entertainment products. The second best feature is the app, which I can use to program/change the tv if the remote is too far away (lol). I gave it 4 stars because it does not have backlighting on the remote. If the upgrade comes with backlighting on the remote I will definitely purchase this product again.

and it works well. I like it a lot and can control my PS4, Xbox One, Switcher, LED Strips, TCL TV and Roku all with one controller. Only negative is that if you don't have an online connection, you can NOT use it. My internet went out and the remote quit working even though the wifi was still on. When I enabled network connection all the commands suddenly went through at once and my devices all went insane lol.

This simply is the best new remote product I have ever purchased. It was easy to set up and had all eight of my devices linked and ready to go. IoS and Android apps are also ver easy to set up.

Works excellent with my devices. Once you get a feel for where the buttons are, you can operate it fine even without it being backlit. The app is a little cumbersome but once the setup is done, it's fine.

I originally bought the Harmony Smart Control to enhance my Smartthings home automation setup. I liked it so much that not only do I recommend it to friends, but I buy and install them for my friends as gifts. Whenever I see someone's TV area littered with multiple remotes, I suggest the Harmony. I find setup very easy and the range of device support is phenomenal. Being able to control everything from my phone is really handy. But I think the best way to use the harmony is to install the app on a tablet. The remote interface on the tablet (iPad) is terrific. Everything is right there. And if you have home automation stuff set up (including Echo and Google Home) you can control things with your voice!

This remote is great and has customizable keys that you can create your own activities via the harmony hub. The only drawback is that its not back-lit but for the price, this is a great product.

I bought this for a home theater projector room. I wanted to control my Fire TV stick, projector, and receiver with one remote. This one fit the bill. It was easy to setup, and it works for the most part, but it can be buggy. Most of the time, it turns everything on, but sometimes it might just turn on the projector or just the receiver. And sometimes when it turns everything on, but it will mute the receiver. Overall I really like it, but it could use some refinement.
