This remote solved all of the problems with my previous Harmony remote. The hub allows you to hide all of your devices, but still use the remote normally from anywhere in the room.

I've had a logitech universal remote for about 5 years, and it finally crapped out, and we needed to get a new one as I despise having 5 remotes floating around. This one was really easy to set up, easy to explain to non techy wife, and aside from some hiccups with miscontrols and changing to the bluray when no one hit any buttons, is easy to use.

The remote itself has a awesome engineering design. You don't want to put it down after holding it. And everything I want it to control it seems to control. Now mind you, the remote is like a bonus item, you are really paying for the hub and with that the access to the app. Your phone will be your remote control. I have an older phone I'm going to dedicate for this purpose. My gripe is their isn't a good tutorial I've found. I really don't have time to figure out if I prefer this or that. I just want the thing to work. For instance I set it up to turn on the tv, Xbox1, soundbar, and Apple TV. It all worked. Then I set up to turn on the TV, change tv input, soundbar, change sound bar input, and go to an OTA channel. It works, if I start the TV from off. If I'm watching something else it sends the power signal to my tv and it turns off. So now I have to figure out how I want to set that up. Right now I've had it over a month and I don't use it because of the time it takes. I really want the thing to work through the regular remote and Alexa. Using a phone for a remote just sucks. If I wanted to use my phone as a remote I already have Xbox glass, Apple TV, and Vizio apps to do that. I have faith in the Alexa platform that this will work better as time progresses. But as of now it's not being used (great product I just don't have it set up) and I wish it were.

I have been on the hunt for a remote my family can use to reliably turn on certain devices for a particular home theater activity. I've tried countless universal remotes and several logitech harmony devices which all have the problem of either not doing enough, or needing to have the remote pointed at the TV for almost 30 seconds for everything to enable properly. The Harmony Hub fixes all of these issues, and if it doesn't work the first time and I get that expected phone call from a family member complaining and whining, I can use the app to remotely troubleshoot from anywhere, nice touch! Amazon Alexa integration is a nice feature as well if I am feeling extremely lazy

Over all this is a great remote. Setup is not too difficult if you're patient. The fact that this remote controls so many different devices means you'll spend a little time linking everything. One of the only drawbacks on this remote I found is the button layout. The play/pause and fast forward/rewind buttons are in a strange spot and it's a little awkward trying to reach them. Other than that this remote controls every device in my home theater flawlessly.

This remote does everything it is supposed to do, and does it very well. Was able to get rid of so many remotes in my media room. Works well with Amazon Echo and Hue lights, too.

I love this thing. Set up was super easy. When paired with google home I just ask to turn on the ,TV, DVD, etc and it does. It's a great little remote at a reasonable price.

The programing ca be a bit daunting for some people. It does not work seamlessly with the new TV that have smart remotes or with the new streaming devices.

Easy setup and installation. The receiver is hidden behind my wall mounted TV. The remote is all I need to access my TV and AppleTV. Everything works seamlessly from the remote or my iPhone.

The harmony has a lot of options to control. It integrates with Alexa and so it can be controlled by voice somewhat. During my installation there were some hiccups that I can't yet fix such as turning off the tv but everything else seems to work well. What I like about this unit is one can program it to do many things like turning on an particular app of a smart tv. The difficulty is trying to program it well. Took many tries but it's worth it when it works.

I put off getting something like this for quite a while because I was a bit overwhelmed with the concept, but the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I downloaded apps for my iPhone and iPad and I can control all of my devices easily now, except for my older AppleTV unit. I still have to use its remote to use it.

We have had a Harmony 1 for a number of years. While it gets the job done, you constantly need to use the help button. The Smart Control is a vast improvement. It was easy to set up, and consistently powers up l devices in the group. The remote is an ideal size, and is intuitive. The app is a plus. The only complaint is the lack of backlighting on the remote, that would make this best in class.

I have 4 devices - blue ray, receiver, satellite and projector. This system allows me to combine all the features of each individual remote for each of those products into a single remote. The best part is the app I downloaded onto my phone. Now I just need my phone to turn everything on and manage the devices!

At this price point, with such versatility to connect with devices, and seamless operation, I have purchased another one. Outstanding option for a remote that controls your entertainment system(s) and provides flexibility to use other devices.

I got this remote because it works with Amazon Alexa and it works great. I can tell Alexa to turn on a device and the harmony works it's magic. The only complaint I have is the lack of screen takes away additional features that my other harmony remote has such as the input button and the home button for the Xbox One. This is still a great remote and it works good with the app too. Maybe next time I'll splurge and pay the extra for the remote with a display.

I own this and the elite version. It is a nice remote to have and to control all the a/v gears in the livingroom. The only con is not having as many options as the elite but I knew what I was getting into prior to purchasing this as I use the elite in the master bdr. The big drawbacj of this and the elite and perhaps all of the newest Logitech remotes is that you cannot execute 2 activities simultaneously which is why I picked this up on sale.

I bought this after returning the more expensive model with the touchscreen, and couldn't be happier. The iPhone software is great, although I've not gotten the Alexa integration working (little effort spent). Having the remote not use IR means you don't have to point the thing at the TV. Only downside is having to remember what activities you assigned to what buttons, but that muscle memory sticks quick.
