A decent remote which includes a "hub" that I can't really even tell you what it does. I was able to set things up and I've integrated it with Google Home, which allows me to do the only really useful thing I've been able to figure out: I can turn on/off devices and switch sources with a voice command. More of a novelty than a game changer.

I've been using Logitech Harmony remotes for over 10 years and they keep getting better. The remote is sleek and feels good in your hand. When everything works as programmed this is a 5 star product. When thing don't work, where is the help button like on the older models that I could use to fix things? Sometimes just pushing the same button works but not always and I have to resort to finding my phone to use the App

Harmony universal remotes are good and this remote takes a step ahead of all others. Simple remote that can be used by ANY ONE in the family. The included remote communicates withe the hub via wifi and therefore there is no need to point in a particular direction. Every time, the whole sequence gets transmitted and you get a consistency that was not present in previous harmony remotes. Obviously you can use the ipad, iphone or any android device as well to communicate with the hub via home wifi (which transmits the infrared signals to AV equipment) and these have additional features. But I am think in most households, the included remote will be used most of the time.

This is my second Harmony - the other does not have extended range nor a hub. I can turn all my audio & visual equipment on without opening my cabinet. Just what I wanted.

works well in my media room without issues. Not so much in my living room, may be its large and the devices r inside console, does have glass but sometimes, the signals don't get thru

I bought this on a lark near Black Friday because there was a good sale. I had heard great reviews for the Harmony remotes for years, but never understood exactly how useful they could be. The number of devices that this remote and hub can control is great, and it's wonderful to be able to press one button and have all of my devices turn on and tune to the correct settings immediately. I think the best feature, however, is the ability to control my devices through my smartphone (via an app) and through my Amazon Echo. I definitely recommend considering purchasing this device for anyone with a smarthome.

Takes a little tinkering but works really good with Alexa and your other smart home devices. You can set up a lot of action with the press of one button.

An incredible device (got on Amazon Day, buy from Bestbuy online), it works great with the Amazon Echo. I have a VERY complicated home entertainment system, and I can turn it off and on (and more), by just saying Alexa Turn On (off) the TV. It turns the AV Receiver to the correct input and turn on the TV. If I say turn on the Blu-Ray it turn on the Blu-Ray player, Turns on my Overhead projector and Turns the AV receiver to the correct input. Plus I can use the non-IR remote to do the same thing (comes with). Only problem I wish it were backlit or glowed in the dark. Highly recommended.

I pulled the trigger during the thanks giving sale, it was a no brainer for $70. I had 4 remotes lying in my man cave (TV, projector, bluray player and receiver) and this one device controls them. The best part I like about this is the harmony hub it came with, this allows me to control all of my devices without having to put the remote at the devices themselves, for this to work you will have to use the IR blaster that it came with. If you do not feel like using the remote you can opt to use the logitech app on your iOS or Android device. Somehow my Apple TV 3rd Gen does not work with the harmony.

Does everything it's supposed to, but the buttons are small, which makes it hard to find and press the correct ones. Lack of backlighting is also a negative. But all in all, works great.

We replaced 4 remotes ( direct tv, soundbar remote, TV remote, and movie control remote for our play station) and it was much less expensive to do it this way. It is super convenient and you are able to use your phone or the remote to control all devices. Definitely would recommend !

Right out of the box the product was nicely packaged and not many components to plug in or assemble. Once assemble, the product was a bit of a hassle to program because the software was slow. Entering the model numbers and brand for each device wasn't bad, it was once entered it took quite a while for the software to get the codes. Once programmed everything was good. One bit of annoyance is once you start an activity (on Android), the software starts to turn on all of the devices. Once the devices are on, the software is still loading. I would expect once the devices are switched to the appropriate sources the software would load up and can begin using. However, this is not the case and one will need to wait a bit longer to use the software remote on Android devices. Another annoyance when one has closed down the software on the Android device, if you'd like to control your devices again, it loses connections at times. I need to go into the app manager on the Android device and stop the application and then reload the Harmony app. All in all, it is a good product. I would purchase it again if needed because of the convenience of having all my remotes consolidated on my tablet or phone. If the software issues in the Harmony Android app were fixed, I would give this product a higher rating.

Never thought this would be possible, but logic tech made this remote easy to connect all of my theater devices, even some of these devices are over 10 years old. With a click of a button, each device turn on one at a time in sequence. Another button to turn off all of the devices. Other buttons (volume, channel selector, etc) all match to the device that controls it. I can even use my iPhone and Amazon echo to control it without having the actual controller. Its great little remote.

I have a Bose Cinemate II and I've always had trouble with any remote working with that system this is not much different but it does work with it once I turn it on with the other remotes

An absolutely great remote! Easy to set up and to use. Best features include the ability to control all of my devices located in my communications closet and my tv in the living room!

Fairly simple to program. Great to have just one controller. Con - easy to mess up the syncing and then need to reprogram

Full disclosure, I did not try to set up the different 'activities' on a computer, but just relied on the mobile app. So, overall the set up (from a software perspective) was a bit cumbersome, and matching all the prompts to work with Alexa. However, I was successful just from the mobile app and it's been flawless since. For the price, even without Alexa integration, I no longer need to juggle 4-5 remotes.

Nice convenient size, but easier to lose. Control doesn't have all the functions available on other remotes though, like page down, etc

We were looking for a remote that would work with our equipment in another room and this was perfect for that. We are still figuring it out but so far works without any issues.

Handheld portion is minimalist, actual IR transmission is on base station; I’ve used the free phone/tablet app too. Some negative comments: 1: Handheld remote not backlit, difficult to use at night. 2: Configuration instructions in box are useless, online instructions were helpful, I configured the base station with a laptop; I don’t know how else it could be done if your Wi-Fi has an encryption password. It takes some technical savvy to get this working
