I actually bought this to use the hub with my Harmony Touch. It basically upgrades the Touch to the (almost) full functionality of the Harmony Touch Ultimate. The only functionality the Ultimate has that this combo doesn't is haptic feedback and the ability to wake the touch screen by moving the remove. Otherwise the two devices are identical in this configuration. Programming the remote isn't difficult, but it does take some poking around in the Harmony software to uncover all that can be done with it. Once found, you'll have an excellent universal remote.

I don't miss the touchscreen too much. I only had 3 main activities I used on a regular basis and this remote can cover all of them. It's actually quicker operating the remote without the touchscreen. Can easily change any functions with the Hub and App. Easy transfer from my Harmony 900 to new remote.

I bought one if these myself several years ago to get away from the complicated multiple device remote. This is the fourth unit I've gifted to friends and family. These are better than the typical universal remote in that you don't have to have line of site with the remote to all devices while each activity is being started. The hub and ir blasters take care of that, greatly reducing sequence errors. Great product for the novice to experienced. Amazon Alexa integration makes it even better.

This requires a bit of set up, and some trial and error, but once done, this is fantastic. I have an Xbox, PS4, Switch, SNES Classic, Dish, soundbar, PC, and a 3 input HDMI switch all being controlled through this device! With Google Assistant integration, it is easy to switch between activities (although it does clash with some Google-reserved words).

Does the job very well. I'm controlling a 4K 3D LG TV, Pioneer Elite AV Receiver, Blu-ray player, Apple TV, Roku 2, and Nintendo Wii with this unit. Simple to program, easy to use. The only thing I miss from more advanced models is the help protocol on the remote itself. You have to use the Smart Control App on your smartphone to access the help feature. Great way to consolidate remote controls for several devices and eliminate clutter and technology challenged individuals love the simplicity of it.

Before Purchasing the harmony smart control I watched a lot of YouTube videos on how to connect the device to the Amazon echo, and my smartthings hub. Convinced that I could do it I outlined a home automation plan. With some trail and error a week later my home is completely automated. I was surprised at how user friendly theses devices were and how simple it was to connect the devices together. The harmony smart control is a beautiful device simple to use and controls everything in my media room.

After installing the app, all I had to do was pick the devices in my system, then setup an activity to use those devices. Probably took 10 min, total. I am also surprised at how well the hub is able to send the IR signal to each of my components. All I had to do was place the hub in my cabinet, and it magically is able to reach all of my components. The remote itself feels nice in your hand as well. It is slim and lightweight, and the buttons are easy to access with one hand.

I love how you can create activities on this device and control with Alexa. Setting up activities can be a little cumbersome. I use the App to create them. I also really like how I can control it from outside the home. My mother sometimes stays over and new technology can be tricky, I can control the tv for her remotely so she can watch her soaps.

This is exactly what I was looking for and this Harmony Companion Universal Remote does it all! It eliminates my over complicated Cable-TV, Apple-TV (although I keep my Apple Remote handy to access all of the unique features) and my Blue Ray DVD remotes. It works with my Amazon Echo Dot so Alexa handles the sequences I programmed with the Harmony Hub via simple voice commands. As a bonus, I can use my iPhone as a remote. I highly recommend the Harmony Companion!

Great product, allows Alexa to control your IR controlled devices. Easy setups, many different options. Fully recommended.

I love the app. I feel that setting it up is way too difficult! Also the regular remote seems to be lacking some of features included in the app.

After 4 hours of programming I got it to work about 90% of the way. It works great and is really cool but not easy to program

I tried to love it...I did. It was easy to setup...but I just can't justify the price for what you get.

Finally decided to take the plunge when this went on sale for a great price. Mostly very happy with the unit in general and once I spent enough time learning and researching, it does everything I need for my home entertainment system. Buy it on sale and be patient when starting out with it and you should be just as happy.

From all that I've heard, this looks like a great thing to talk to my TV with through my Google home mini. Fingers-crossed.

Super easy to setup, one remote control my whole system (TV, receiver, blueray, cable box) also with the app you can even turn on the tv from your phone being miles away.
